There are plenty of ways to get One Life to Live alum Sean Ringgold (ex-Shaun Evans) on your screen. He's currently recurring in ABC's legal drama For Life and just landed a role on the CBS crime drama FBI.
Former One Life to Live star Sean Ringgold (ex-Shaun Evans) is on a roll when it comes to appearing in major projects alongside major stars. Not only can he be seen in the Adam Sandler film Uncut Gems, currently streaming on Netflix, but he's also attached to two network television series.
As ABC fans may have noticed, Ringgold has appeared in several episodes of the network's new legal drama For Life, which began airing in February. The series tells the story of Aaron Wallace (Nicholas Pinnock), who has been sentenced to life in prison for a crime he did not commit. While incarcerated, Wallace becomes a lawyer and works as a defense attorney for others while striving to get his own sentence overturned.
Ringgold plays the recurring role of strict prison officer Huey Cornell, who will next be appearing in the Tuesday, March 24, episode of the series opposite rapper 50 Cent, who plays Cassius Dawkins.
"When I tell you things are going to get crazy next Tuesday on @forlifeabc I wasn't playing!" Ringgold teases of his upcoming episode. "@50cent is obviously getting under my Skin on day one. Who thinks they can figure out what's going to happen next?"
In addition to recurring in For Life, Ringgold will soon be appearing on the CBS crime drama FBI, which centers on the inner working of the New York office of the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
The actor took to Instagram to announce news of his casting, writing, "I'm blessed and extremely excited about my new role on @fbicbs. I really can't wait to bring this character to life. I have to thank my Team for helping to make this opportunity a reality."
At this time, there's no word on which character Ringgold will play or when he will make his FBI debut. The series, which premiered in 2018, is currently on hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Ringgold is known to daytime fans for his 2006 to 2012 role as OLTL bodyguard Shaun Evans. Some of his other credits include Emergence, The Family Business, Luke Cage, and Billions.
