Y&R casts Chicago Hope alum in new recurring role

The Young and the Restless has called on Chicago Hope alum Roxanne Hart to take on the recurring role of Kim Dunaway, who holds the key to a mystery that's about to unfold in Genoa City.

The residents of Genoa City are about to have a new face in their midst, as actress Roxanne Hart has signed on to The Young and the Restless in a recurring capacity.

According to Soap Opera Digest, the Chicago Hope alum has taken on the role of Kim Dunaway, who holds the key to a mystery that will soon be unfolding on the CBS soap opera.

Unfortunately, additional details about how Kim will play into storyline are being kept hush-hush, but fans can look forward to her first appearance on Thursday, November 18.

Hart got her start in the acting business playing the short-term role of Isadora on One Life to Live back in 1980. Her subsequent credits include shows such as Dream On, Oz, Medium, Hung, How to Get Away with Murder, Manhunt, and The Resident, as well as her best-known role as Nurse Camille Shutt on Chicago Hope.
