Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:

On The Young and the Restless, Jabot Cosmetics hasn't gone under yet (and we hope it never does!), but we started to think it might already have! Why? Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is doing his work not at the Jabot offices, but rather in the backroom at Crimson Lights. Is he running a company or writing a screenplay? (Many Los Angeles writers will pop open their laptops at coffee shops to work on their screenplays.) We get that not every set is available each day, so a lot of scenes end up taking place at the long-running coffee shop but were there no other choices? Maybe an alcove at the Genoa City Athletic Club, a more appropriate place given Jack's dapper business attire? Yes, it had to be in a public place so that Jack could run into Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), so it's understandable why Jack was working at Crimson Lights. However, he was dealing with highly sensitive information as Jabot is trying to scramble from Victor's attack. The good news is that the doors to the main coffee shop area at Crimson Lights were kept closed to prevent anyone from eavesdropping while Jack read Adam and Chelsea the riot act. Outside of a corner at the GCAC, we can't imagine there being an appropriate place where Jack could have been in public where he'd run into Adam and Chelsea! Refills are on Esther (Kate Linder)!
