Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:
What happened on The Young and the Restless

Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) formed an unstable alliance last summer when he returned to The Young and the Restless. Phyllis betrayed Cane, however, when she gave this coveted Artificial Intelligence program to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), hoping he'd use it against Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Jabot Cosmetics, and then, he'd give the company to her as a reward. That backfired when Victor used the program against Cane's company, Arabesque. Victor's about to find out that crime doesn't pay. But first, let's talk about Cane and Phyllis finding their way back to each other. He was not only told by his ex, Lily (Christel Khalil), that they're never getting back together, but his son, Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry), sent him a text, cutting off ties with his dad. Cane's got thing to lose, and Phyllis is open to reforming their partnership. There hasn't been an invitation to go over to the dark side like that since Darth Vader asked his son, Luke Skywalker, to join the family business! Cane let Phyllis know that there was a program built into the AI program that would cause the program to turn on the person who used it! In other words, Victor Newman and Newman Enterprises are headed for a fall. Never let it be said that things won't change or the tide won't turn. Y&R has reset Cane and Phyllis as a power couple in Genoa City and we can't wait to see what happens next!
