Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:

There's nothing better than a good, old-fashioned soap opera feud. Take two people, put them at odds, and each time they encounter one another, viewers can count on a dramatic showdown. From Kay (Jeanne Cooper) and Jill (Jess Walton), to Jack (Peter Bergman) and Victor (Eric Braeden), to Nina (Tricia Cast) and Victoria (Amelia Henlie), The Young and the Restless has excelled in character conflict. Today, that tradition is being continued by Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin). These two simply do not like each other given how Audra brazenly attempted to seduce Kyle (Michael Mealor) despite him being committed to Claire at the time. Audra feels vulnerable because Holden (Nathan Owens) has revealed part of her past to Claire. When the two women encountered each other at Crimson Lights, it was good that Holden was there to referee because these two might have clawed each other's eyes out, otherwise. Claire threw in Audra's face that she took money from her grandfather Victor (Eric Braeden) to seduce Kyle, implying she was a prostitute since the scheme involved sleeping with Kyle. In turn, Audra reminded Claire that she tried to kill her entire family. Ouch. We gotta admit that that's one that's hard to come back from. To her credit, Claire acknowledged that it was terrible, she regretted it, and she'd be spending her entire life making up for it. Claire's comeback to that was accusing Audra of having no scruples or morals. We're pretty sure that conspiring to seduce someone to break up a relationship isn't quite the same as, you know, murder, so Audra does seem to have the advantage. However, we're eagerly looking forward to the next time these two go at it!
