The Young and the Restless Recap, June 19, 2025: Dumas's party guests grew restless 

On the June 19, 2025, episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily helped Damian calm down, Sharon eavesdropped on Nick and Phyllis, and Carter's boss (AKA Dumas) announced it was time to reveal himself.

What happened on The Young and the Restless

Jack told Diane he didn’t want to go through the maze again. Diane observed that the maze was unnecessarily cruel. She didn’t like spending lunch, cocktails, and dinner with people whom they didn’t even like. Diane noted that Nikki and Victor had retreated to their private train cabin. She tried to cheer Jack by focusing on some positives.

Diane suggested they focus on each other as it’s their honeymoon. “You’re beautiful, and you’re right,” Jack told his wife. He commented on the music and began dancing with Diane. He thanked her for turning his mood around. Jack and Diane professed their love to each other. Meanwhile, a mysterious man observed monitors that kept tabs on Dumas’s guests.

Phyllis came upon Nick as she wandered through the maze of shrubbery. She told her ex that she was glad she ran into him and not Victor. Or Nikki. Or Billy or Sally or Jack and Diane. Or Sharon. “I can't be caught with Sharon in a puzzle again," Phyllis commented, referring to their kidnapping ordeal courtesy of Martin.

Nick let his ex know that they were on a break until cocktail hour. Phyllis said she was grateful she didn’t miss Dumas's big reveal. Nick said he was getting a tad antsy, but not as much as Victor was. Then, Phyllis pointed out that Nick didn't want her to even come on this trip. Nick said that wasn’t true, but he was concerned about her motives.

Phyllis suggested the maze of shrubbery was a game that Dumas had put together. She began to panic. Nick comforted her by telling her she was not in the clinic. Phyllis thanked Nick for being a calming influence. Nick quipped that Phyllis finishing a bottle of champagne helped her nerves. Phyllis hugged Nick after telling she told him he was glad that he was there. Sharon spied the duo from a distance.

Sharon eavesdropped as Nick and Sharon chatted about Dumas and Daniel. Phyllis maintained that Dumas didn’t scare her. Then, Sharon cheerfully joined Nick and Phyllis. Phyllis claimed to be glad that Sharon had come along on the trip. Sharon said Mariah – and Nick – convinced her to come. Sharon invited Phyllis to check out the maze with Nick, but she passed.

Meanwhile, Billy made a drink for Sally in the main courtyard. “I think it’s perfection,” Sally said after taking a sip. Sally wondered if there was a staff member outside of Carter who put everything in place. Then, Jack and Diane arrived in the courtyard. Billy kissed Sally after he called her his GPS (Global Positioning System). Billy fixed Jack a drink. The older Abbott groused he was as annoyed at this setup as Victor was. Diane wondered where Kyle was.

Meanwhile, Kyle ran into Audra in the maze of shrubbery. She asked if he had followed her. Kyle wanted an update on Cole. Audra mentioned she had a friend (Amy) who was fighting cancer. She promised to send her photos, as Amy had never been to Europe. Kyle commented on Audra’s compassionate side. She told him she wasn’t going to lay down her sword on the Vibrante front. “And she’s back!” Kyle quipped when Audra became focused on business again. He asked to get a whiff of Audra’s sample scent.

Kyle asked to sniff Audra's new scent, but she insisted that Dumas would be the first person to experience her new product. Adura said she had money to open doors. Kyle quipped it was Victor’s money that she had. Audra maintained that she couldn't trust him with her information. Kyle accused Kyle of overplaying her hand. Audra quipped he'd regret underestimating her.

Audra feared Kyle would steal her scent. He wondered if she even had a product to show Dumas. If that was the case, Kyle promised to mock Audra on social media. Audra presented a bottle, but he told her that there could be anything in that container. It could even be a Jabot product. She sprayed perfume on herself and invited Kyle to smell it. “Is that a Jabot scent?” she asked him. He admitted it wasn’t, and it also wasn’t that bad. Kyle admitted the scent was intoxicating.

Damian, Lily, and Devon rode Dumas's train to his villa. Lily thought it was interesting the way Dumas flaunted his wealth. She wanted answers -- not fancy food. Lily wondered what the purpose of the party was. Damian advised they all remain guarded. Devon asked Lily what was wrong. She couldn’t put it into words but admitted to feeling unsettled since stepping on the train.

Devon noted that the ball was in Dumas’s court and that everyone felt uneasy about the situation with him. Lily passed on Damian’s offer for a glass of champagne so that she could keep her wits about her. The train arrived at its destination. Then, Carter greeted Damian, Lily, and Devon. Lily asked Carter if he was Dumas. Devon explained that Abby was delayed because Dominic had taken ill. She’d be arriving on a later flight. Carter said he’d guide the three to cocktails. Lily half-jokingly asked if there was a maze involved. Next, Carter advised Lily, Devon, and Damian to follow the sound of voices to find the others as they made their way through the maze of shrubbery.

Kyle and Audra joined Diane and Jack, and Billy and Sally in the courtyard. Kyle offered to fix Audra a drink. Audra said she wanted only the best in life. Privately, Diane shared with Jack her belief that Audra was up to something. Jack suggested they trust their son.

Meanwhile, Damian, Lily, and Devon made their way through the maze of shrubbery. An anxious Damian suggested climbing or mowing down the hedges. He began to breathe heavily and revealed that he was claustrophobic. Damian took off with Lily and Devon following closely behind him. Devon suggested to Damian that they keep going instead of turning around, as they would probably come halfway. Lily advised Damian to breathe in and breathe out.

Lily further calmed Damian by pointing out that they were in the French countryside. She told him he wasn’t trapped. Damian calmed down and asked Lily how she was so good at everything. Lily said she had experience dealing with someone (Tyler) who was claustrophobic when they were in an elevator.

Kyle lamented to Jack that he couldn't reach Claire. He told his dad that he had tested Audra’s new perfume and revealed it wasn’t that bad. Meanwhile, Diane and Audra sparred. She wondered what Dumas believed Audra could even do for him. Audra told Diane she hoped that she didn’t mind that she and Kyle would be spending a lot of time together.

Phyllis entered the courtyard area and encountered Billy and Sally. The trio sparred. Meanwhile, Carter informed Dumas that Abby was delayed due to her sick child. “It’s almost time,” a mystery man (presumably, Dumas) proclaimed.

Devon told everyone that Abby would be delayed. Lily introduced Damian to people who had not already met him and made it sound like she had stolen him from Dumas. Sally wondered if Damian had any insights into Dumas.

Meanwhile, Sharon and Nick were lost but they heard the music which guided them back to the party. Phyllis told them the gala was just getting started. “You mean because I’m here now,” Nick quipped. He left Sharon and Phyllis alone while he got Phyllis something to drink. "You know what I like," Phyllis told her ex. Kyle asked Nick if he had talked to Victor. He wanted to know how Cole was doing. Nick hoped that Cole was better. Kyle didn’t want Claire to worry.

Diane related to Jack and Kyle, she came up empty when trying to get information on Audra's true motives from her. Damian thanked Lily for making it sound like she stole him from Dumas, not that he was fired. Lily indicated she would have hired him anyway. Damian wondered why he was even there.

Nick said if Dumas didn’t show his face by the morning, he was out of there. Jack agreed. But Phyllis said she was staying. Billy concurred with Phyllis. Audra said it was a clever move to gather them all there. Meanwhile, the mysterious man dismissed Carter. Before leaving, Carter asked if his boss still planned to wait until tomorrow before revealing himself.

The mystery man ordered Carter to have Victor and Nikki join the others and to also summon “her.” Then, the shadowy figure, AKA Dumas, emerged and announced it was time to make himself known!
