The Young and the Restless Recap, June 9-13, 2025: Genoa City prepares for Dumas’ party, Victor calls Chelsea’s bluff, and Danny and Christine return

This week on The Young and the Restless, Mariah began to cave to Tessa’s pleas to open up about what was bothering her, but she ultimately snapped and ran away. Sharon reconsidered going to France in lieu of staying home to support a clearly distraught Mariah. Nick admitted he wanted Sharon to join him to talk him down if he lost his temper with Dumas. Mariah and Nick later convinced Sharon to make the trip. Daniel advised Phyllis not to attend Dumas’ party, but she intended to use whatever happened at it to her advantage. Lily was touched when Damian gifted her with a copy of a book Neil had once loved that had gone missing. Lily encouraged Damian to tell Holden how much the men’s friendship meant to him. Victor finagled an invitation for Audra to Dumas’ event, and she invited Kyle to accompany her to stage their first conflict for publicity purposes. Kyle declined at first, but he later accepted Audra’s invitation once he got Claire’s blessing. Victor threatened to pull the plug on Audra’s business venture unless she made inroads with Kyle. Holden became increasingly suspicious of Audra and Victor’s connection. Audra dissuaded Nate from joining her in France without mentioning that she’d already invited Kyle. Diane worried that Victor and Audra were setting Kyle up for a fall, but Jack trusted Kyle to outsmart them. Adam hesitated to follow Victor’s orders to attack Billy in print. Chelsea sought advice from Nikki about how to handle Victor. Chelsea offered to reveal Dumas’ true identity if Victor stopped going after Billy in the press, but Victor called her bluff. Victor claimed that he knew who Dumas really was – and it wasn’t Tucker McCall, who was imprisoned in India. Abby was miffed when the Winters clan discussed the possibility of taking Dumas’ side over Victor’s. Cole was moved to a hospital in Chicago to treat his pneumonia. Phyllis appealed to Tessa to look after Daniel while Phyllis was out of town. Danny and Christine returned to town, and Daniel was dismayed when Phyllis revealed that he’d been taking guitar lessons. Tessa supported Daniel’s decision not to perform until he was ready.
