The Young and the Restless Recap, May 5-9, 2025: Phyllis threatens revenge, Lily has a new plan for Damian, and Victor’s opposition intensifies

This week on The Young and the Restless, Phyllis interrupted Billy and Sally’s celebration of their new business partnership. Sally worried after Phyllis vowed to have the last laugh. Nate and Damian returned from Boston with a growing bond. Nate became suspicious when Audra revealed that Victor hadn’t yet provided funding for Vibrante. Damian agreed to try to arrange a meeting between Lily and Dumas. Lily and Damian commiserated over losing their fathers too soon. Lily suggested that Damian quit his job with Dumas and work for Winters instead. Damian encouraged Holden to take over his job in L.A. if Damian decided to join Winters. Lily later told Devon and Nate that her plan was for Damian to serve as a spy to find out what Dumas wanted with their family company. Claire bristled when she learned Kyle had started searching for a new home without her input. Claire eventually softened, and she and Kyle approached Adam about buying his former apartment. Adam agreed to sell his place, but he warned that Victor would never accept Kyle and Claire’s relationship. Claire finally told Victor about her plans to move in with Kyle, but Victor refused to allow it. Nikki urged Claire to slow things down with Kyle. Victor angrily confronted Kyle and Jack and later ordered Adam to back out of the deal to sell his place. Claire and Kyle pledged to take on Victor together. Chelsea objected to Victor using Newman Media to trash his enemies in the press. Adam promised that he wouldn’t cave to Victor’s demands. Adam unsuccessfully tried to dig up more information about Dumas. Chloe was upset when news about Chelsea’s resignation from Marchetti leaked before Chelsea had told her about it. Chelsea briefly reconsidered leaving Marchetti but decided to stay at Newman because she had faith Adam had changed. Victor cautioned Billy against getting caught between Victor and Dumas. Billy had a heart-to-heart conversation with Jack about losing his connection with John after Diane’s changes to the Abbott mansion. Jack assured Billy that their father would always be in their hearts. Tessa confided to Daniel that she sensed Mariah was hiding something from her.
