On the Wednesday, October 23rd episode of The Young and the Restless, Nick questioned Sienna about Noah's accident, Cane accused Phyllis of stealing his AI program, and Kye finally agreed to leave Los Angeles.
What happened on The Young and the Restless

Kyle spotted Sienna and Holden in a heated conversation on the hotel rooftop, and Claire wondered what he was up to. Kyle thought the more important question was what Holden was doing and who the woman was. However, Claire recognized Sienna and found nothing unusual about the conversation with Holden. Claire felt insulted by Kyle, and she threatened to end the conversation because he was supposed to leave her alone.
Claire was frustrated that Kyle wouldn't give her any space. He tried to blame business meetings on still being at the hotel, but she wanted him to leave the hotel and return to Genoa City. Before Kyle could leave, Nick appeared behind him, both stunned to see the other. He knew Kyle and Claire were on a break, so it was odd to see them together.
Nick told Kyle about Noah's accident and the dire nature of his injuries. Nick noticed Sienna speaking to Claire and Holden, and Kyle was all too eager to disparage Holden to his former father-in-law. However, Nick's enraged reaction to hearing Sienna's name caught Kyle off guard. He wanted details about Sienna, but instead of waiting for Kyle, he marched over to the table where everyone talked.
Claire was surprised to see Nick, which led to a lukewarm reaction. Sienna instantly took notice that Nick's name was said. She wondered if Victoria had enlisted Nick to travel to Los Angeles since she already clued Kyle in on her whereabouts. He confirmed he was there to see Noah, and Claire wanted to finally meet her cousin, but she was shocked to learn of the accident. Nick eyed Sienna throughout the conversation, knowing she was the woman he spoke to on the phone.
Claire wondered how Noah was doing, and she was appalled to learn the extent of his injuries. Sienna realized that Nick was on to her and admitted she was the person he chatted with on the phone. Holden was completely surprised that Sienna had a connection to Noah. She admitted she was a friend of Noah’s, and he visited her club a few times. He previously met her and her husband, Mitch. Nick wanted more information about her relationship with Noah, and she tried to evade the idea, but he persisted. She gave him the option of meeting her at the club, so they could dive deeper into what she may know about the accident.
Claire was floored that Sienna had a connection to her family and expressed sadness for her cousin's current medical state. Holden wanted to be a good friend to Claire, so he volunteered to transport her to the hospital, so she could be by her family's side. She questioned Holden about his relationship with Sienna because of the tense nature of their previous conversation. He played it off and claimed he had no idea why she was at the hotel, but Claire seemed mistrustful of that response.
Sharon exclaimed to a nurse that Noah had made slight progress. She witnessed a slight eye twitch, which led her to believe he showed signs of improvement. Sharon thought reading to Noah sparked some sort of new brain activity, but the nurse assured her that it was simply a reflex. She noted that a lack of changes was a good sign, as Noah's condition hadn't deteriorated.
Sharon returned to Noah's bedside, and she continued to read to him, hoping for another reaction. Despite the nurse's professional opinion, Noah showed signs of responding the moment she read to him. It was enough to send Sharon into another emotional spiral, and she requested that he get better so everyone could stop crying. She decided to keep reading to her son and hoped for a miracle.
Claire and Holden arrived at the hospital, much to Sharon's astonishment. She asked what they were doing there, and she filled her in on how she ran into Nick at the hospital. Sharon was grateful for Claire's support and immediately recognized Holden from his Crimson Lights patronage. She remembered Holden as a friend of Damien's, and he praised one of her products. Holden offered his services to help her through anything, while Claire requested to finally meet Noah for the first time.
Sharon remarked that Holden seemed like a nice guy, and she was happy to have familiar faces by her side. Claire spoke softly to Noah at his bedside, sharing stories about her father’s time in London. Claire cried while talking to him, unable to comprehend how Sharon and Nick were handling the crisis. Sharon remarked, "It would be worse if Nick and I didn't have each other," which was a testament to their longstanding connection. Claire remarked that they were fortunate to have one another, but Sharon’s words set the wheels in motion in her mind.
Back at the hotel, Kyle tracked down information about the Shadow Room. He appeared to want to visit Sienna for more information. However, he was intrigued by her husband, Mitch, who was noticeably absent from the website.
At The Shadow Room, Sienna offered Nick a drink after formally introducing herself. He declined any beverages because he was on a mission to uncover the truth about the accident. Sienna wasn't sure if she had any information that could help with his search, but he wondered how they connected. Sienna said Mitch visited Noah's club in London, and her husband offered to invest in Noah's Los Angeles expansion. Sienna got the vibe that it was more of an interrogation than anything else, sensing Nick's mistrust.
Nick backed off a bit and said he didn't mean to come on too strong. He just wanted to know a timeline of Noah's events in Los Angeles, but she felt like it was an accident. Sienna seemed genuinely shocked to hear that "police" believed Noah was intentionally run off the road. She explained she saw Noah the night of his crash, and he was a patron at the club right before the crash. Sienna wasn't able to provide any information about how much Noah drank that night. Nick asked why Sienna called Noah after the accident, but she explained it was only to discuss information about his club expansion.
The more questions Nick asked, the more defensive Sienna got. She told Nick she was sorry about what happened to him, but she was a busy woman. Sienna understood Nick's concern for his son, but he vowed to find out who tried to harm his son. He wanted her number, and although she reminded him it was already on Noah's phone, she gave it to him anyway.
Once Nick left the club, he returned to the hospital and chatted with Holden in the waiting room. Nick wanted details about his relationship with Claire, and he was doing his uncle duties and protecting her. Nick wondered about his ties to the Shadow Room and showed him a photo of Noah, but Holden didn't recognize him. They discussed his connection to Sienna, which made Holden visibly uncomfortable. After they left, Nick uttered to himself that there was "no chance in hell" that any of this was a coincidence.
Nick told Sharon about Holden's connection to Sienna, and he got the sense she withheld information. Also, at the Shadow Room, Holden confronted Sienna at the club, and he warned her about the Newman family's power.
Claire ran into Kyle on the rooftop of the hotel after leaving the hospital and expressed pain at seeing Noah in his bed. He recalled it wasn't easy for Claire to go through any of it because of her father's recent passing, and he helped her dry her tears when she broke down. Kyle started to leave, but Claire stopped him. She thanked him for bringing flowers from Genoa City, and Kyle assured her he would leave town to give her the space she needed, but she took that as him giving up.
From her hotel suite, Phyllis congratulated herself on procuring the AI program from Cane. Before her celebration could continue further, Cane pounded on her door and demanded to know what she had done. Phyllis played dumb and asked what she had done, but Cane wasn't buying it. He asked her not to play games, and he questioned whether he had to ask her again. His tech team revealed a hack to the system, and he confessed that the AI program vanished from his servers.
Cane asked Phyllis if she knew anything about the disappearance of the Ai program. She feigned ignorance and questioned the integrity of Cane and his tech team. Phyllis said, "I think somebody would have to be just a genius at cybersecurity to hack into something so big." However, Cane thought an idiot with insider knowledge could do considerable damage. Phyllis wondered if Cane had any suspects so far, and he named her as the primary.
Cane cited how Phyllis had the means, motive, and opportunity to swipe his program. He wondered if she took matters into her own hands to secure her own future. He asked, "Do you have any idea what this program means to me, Phyllis? The power of it. And now it's just gone? There are very few people capable of making something like that disappear." Phyllis thought they were a team, and she reminded him of her pledge to support him.
Cane didn't buy what Phyllis was selling and questioned if he was wrong to ever trust her. She said she stood by him and supported him, and he had screwed her over several times in the past. Phyllis shouted at him about how disrespectful he was to her and pondered if he was willing to throw away their relationship because he wanted to blame her for the theft of his program. He agreed she'd been loyal, but he doesn't think their goals were still aligned.
Phyllis confessed it would be fun to go scorched earth on the people who wronged her, but she found his family reunion goals admirable. "You wanna look like a good guy with your kids and with Lily. Okay. All right. That's what you want to do, and I told you that I was in, and I meant that," she told him. He ignored her remark and discussed the idea of her having a side project. He wanted the evasiveness to cease, and asked her a final time if she had made off with his program.
Phyllis pitched the idea of helping Cane fix his reputation, but her was laser-focused on blaming her for stealing his AI program. She told him he was looking in the wrong direction since he had no shortage of enemies in Genoa City. Phyllis posed Victor Newman as the most likely possibility for swiping the program.
