This week on The Young and the Restless, Kyle was devastated when Claire ended their relationship, claiming she needed time alone. Kyle later became infuriated when he learned Claire planned to spend time with Holden in L.A., and he accused her of trying to get revenge for his dalliance with Audra. Audra overheard Kyle and Claire’s heated argument and taunted Kyle by crowing that she’d won. Kyle pledged to take Audra down if she attempted to profit from the damage she’d caused. Nikki and Victoria decided to enlist Nick’s help to check up on Claire while she was in L.A. Diane confronted Claire about breaking Kyle’s heart. Jack turned down Billy’s plea to reinvest in Abbott Communications, but Billy vowed not to give up. Audra tried to convince Sally to move on to their own venture. Audra took Sally’s advice and begged Nate to give her another chance, but Nate couldn’t get past Audra’s manipulations and lies. Amy urged Nate to believe that love could change people and to give things with Audra another try. Jack reached out to Jill to suggest she return to Genoa City to see what Cane was up to. Jill was impressed when Sally contacted her to discuss Billy’s obsession with Chancellor and the possibility of Jill funding Abbott Communications. Jill returned to town, and Billy was irate that her first stop was to see Cane. Billy spilled Cane’s plan to take down people Jill cared about by unleashing his AI on their companies. After Jill demanded to know if Cane would be that cruel, she realized he felt lonely and rejected. Jill consoled Cane after he admitted he didn’t know who he was anymore. Billy walked in on Jack and Victor conferring about how to stop Cane, and he insisted on joining them in their efforts. Victor proposed that rather than talking to Jill together, they divide and conquer. After Nikki confirmed Lauren’s fears that Victor and Michael were on the verge of reconciling, Lauren blasted Michael for lying and stormed off. Sharon warned that Mariah might see Tessa’s investigation into what happened at the hotel as a betrayal.
