The Young and the Restless Spoilers, August 12: Phyllis shares a secret with Daniel

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, August 12, have Phyllis sharing a secret with Daniel, Audra covering her tracks with Nate, and Claire taking matters into her own hands.

What's next on The Young and the Restless

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) has told Cane (Billy Flynn) she'll turn on the men in her life if he brings her into the fold with his business empire. Yep, even Nick (Joshua Morrow) isn't invulnerable to Phyllis's ambition. (Though we'll believe Phyllis throwing Nick under a bus when we see it!) The one person we can't see her ever betraying is her son, Daniel (Michael Graziadei).

With that in mind, on Tuesday's show, watch for Phyllis to share a secret with Daniel. What could that secret be? We're not sure, but we do know that Phyllis trusts Daniel. She has his best interests at heart, even if she comes on a bit strong at times. Phyllis probably still wants to secure a position for Daniel so he can have a purpose in life.

Dancing as fast as she can

Even the great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) admires Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and her ability to talk her way out of situations. Victor might want a front row seat to Audra's next move. On Tuesday's show, she's going to try to cover her tracks with Nate. The doctor-turned-business executive has no idea that his girlfriend got into bed (figuratively, that is) with the mogul.

Now that Victor has pulled funding for Vibrante, Audra may have to explain to Nate why she's no longer pursuing her own company. Sally (Courtney Hope) offered her pal a way out by saying she could give her a job, which would explain her moving on from Vibrante. Will Audra succeed in keeping Nate from discovering just how ambitious his girlfriend can be?

Crystal Claire

A while back, Diane (Susan Walters) mentioned to Kyle (Michael Mealor) that Claire had the potential to show a dark side. On Tuesday's episode, watch for Claire to take matters into her own hands. She's aware that Victor and Audra conspired to bring down her relationship with Kyle. She knows that they both still may have that goal.

Claire may realize that the best defense is a strong offense. Just how far will she go to ensure her relationship with Kyle remains intact? Victor may find he is facing an uphill battle to keep Claire safe from someone he doesn't trust.
