The Young and the Restless Spoilers, August 27: Nick does damage control with Phyllis

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, August 27, have Nick doing damage control with Phyllis, Nate confessing to Devon, and Lily being reminded of her past with Cane.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) continues to be Genoa City's White Knight. On Wednesday's show, watch for the Newman heir to do damage control with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). What exact damage will Nick be controlling? With Phyllis, there are so many possibilities! She's gotten into bed with Cane (Billy Flynn), which may get her into lots of trouble. Who better than Nick to come to Phyllis's rescue? She's always had a soft spot in her heart for her video game buddy.

Phyllis isn't regularly one to embrace aid. She can do it all herself! But she does tend to let her guard down around Nick, as he has such a good heart. If anyone can get Phyllis under control, it's Nick Newman!

Confession time

On Tuesday's show, watch for Nate (Sean Dominic) to confess something to Devon (Bryton James). We suspect it will have something to do with Audra (Zuleyka Silver) and her duplicity. Nate didn't want to believe Claire's (Hayley Erin) Audra was in cahoots with Victor (Eric Braeden), but he couldn't deny the circumstantial evidence and, more importantly, his gut.

Audra denied till she was blue in the face, but Nate had had enough. Devon has been a great ally for Nate in the past. Perhaps he will again now that Nate is going to share information with his cousin.

On Tuesday's show, watch for Lily (Christel Khalil) to be reminded of her past with Cane. It wasn't all that bad, was it? The couple had many years of happiness. They stuck with each other in sickness (her cancer) and in health. They have two beautiful children, Charlie and Mattie (Noah Alexander Gerry and Lexie Stevenson). That has to count for something!

Perhaps Lily will realize that times weren't always bad with Cane and that she still loves him? Cane has amassed a fortune, in part, hoping to rewin Lily's love. It appears he won't stop until he gets what he wants!
