Here are your spoilers for The Young and the Restless for December 23, 2025, as Nick forces Matt Clark's hand, Lily finds Cane and Phyllis too close for comfort, and Traci shares words of wisdom with Diane.
What's next on The Young and the Restless

The last thing Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) were expecting in 2025 was to have Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) show his face as they thought the man was dead! After running into him in Los Angeles, Nick and Sharon are dealing with Matt's presence in Genoa City.
On Tuesday's show, watch for Nick to force Matt's hand. Does this mean Nick and Matt will engage in one of their many legendary brawls that go back to the two fighting in Crimson Lights? Will Nick become Saint Nicholas and make the holidays happy for the Newmans by vanquishing the villain from their lives? Stay tuned!
A concerned Lily

Lily (Christel Khalil) has recently been open to giving Cane (Billy Flynn), her ex-husband, a chance. She defended him to Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) at Society a while back. More recently, she brought Cane as her "plus one" to the kickoff party for Abbott Communications. But are her feelings for her ex running towards reconciliation?
On Tuesday's show, watch for Lily to find Cane and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) too close for comfort. Perhaps Lily wants Cane back as her husband. Maybe she doesn't. But she likely cares for Cane to the point where she doesn't want him with Phyllis, whom she considers to be bad news.
Sister-in-law act

Diane (Susan Walters) has gone on a journey in 2025 where she's come to feel fully accepted as an Abbott. Her redo of the Abbott mansion won everyone over (though Billy, played by Jason Thompson, took a beat before coming around). Diane truly feels like an Abbott.
On Tuesday's show, watch for Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) to share some words of wisdom with Diane. We can bet that Diane will heed Traci's words as her sister-in-law is the heart and soul of the Abbott family. Traci will likely have something comforting to say to Diane to help her with whatever her problem may be.
