Ironically, just as he is today, Victor was on the outs with many of his family members back in 2010 on Y&R. He was living at the original ranch when he told his then-maid whether or not he expected the staff to work on Christmas Day. Alone, Victor was visited by an older man who was someone from the mogul's past. Watch for Victor to blast this person for the role that he played in his life!

Christmas Past and Present

Victor, just like Scrooge in Charles Dickens's "A Christmas Carol," was visited by three spirits. Watch for Victor's past to be explored. As longtime Y&R viewers know, Victor was left at an orphanage by his mother, Cora (played as an adult by Dorothy McGuire). Back then, Victor was known as Christian Miller. The young boy was so traumatized by being abandoned that he set out to create a financial empire so that no one could ever hurt him again. Christian changed his name to Victor Newman, becoming, literally, a "new man" in the process.

Victor was visited by his late ex-wife, Hope (Signy Coleman), who died from pancreatic cancer in 2008. Hope represented the ghost of Christmas Past. Also, Victor was visited by his late wife, Sabrina (Raya Meddine), who had died in 2009 from injuries sustained in a car wreck. Victor believed that Sabrina represented the ghost of Christmas Present.

On Thursday's rebroadcast of Y&R, watch for Victor to be visited by one final spirit. While this last ghost isn't one of Victor's (many) former wives, it's nonetheless a woman who has a deep connection to the mogul. In many ways, this final spirit has an even deeper connection to Victor.

Victor not only takes trips to his past in this episode, but he's also treated to a vision of what the future would be without him. While these visits made a powerful impact on him, one had to wonder how lasting it was given modern developments. Don't miss this special rebroadcast that is sure to entertain both veteran and newer Y&R fans!
