The Young and the Restless Spoilers, June 13: Christine and Danny come home

What happens on The Young and the Restless

Christine (Lauralee Bell) and Danny (Michael Damian) have been gone from Genoa City for quite a while. Danny's been on tour. Christine dropped by Los Angeles to attend a Forrester Creations fashion show. On Friday's show, we'll see the couple show up on-screen. Viewers will have to tune in to see what conflict the couple is facing. Will Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) try to re-stake her claim on her former husband?

Bell teased last month that she'd be sharing screentime not only with Danny but also his son, Daniel (Michael Graziadei). You can read about that here.

Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) has faced a lot of trauma in her life. Not too long ago, Phyllis tried to enlist Tessa as an ally so that Phyllis could exert more control over Daniel. Tessa steadfastly refused, which Phyllis did not appreciate.

We all know that Phyllis is not someone who gives up easily. On Friday's show, watch for Tessa to stand her ground against the fiery redhead once more. What's the conflict this time? Perhaps Phyllis wants Daniel to accompany her to Aristotle Dumas's gala in France. Tessa likely doesn't care if Daniel goes or not. Guitar lessons can always be rescheduled.

However, we suspect that Tessa will not try to influence Daniel's decision. She's going to want him to make his own decision. If Phyllis goes to France without Daniel, her son may get some time to figure out what he wants to do next.

Family matters

Devon (Bryton James) will do whatever is necessary to protect his family, Nate (Sean Dominic) and Lily (Christel Khalil), from Amanda's (Mishael Morgan) boss on The Young and the Restless | JPI

Amanda (Mishael Morgan) has told Devon (Bryton James) and Lily (Christel Khalil) that they have nothing to fear from her boss, Aristotle Dumas. However, that doesn't mean Devon is going to take Amanda at her word. He's well aware there are some hurt feelings on Amanda's side, given how he ended their blossoming romance to take up with Abby (Melissa Ordway), the mother of their son, Dominic.

On Friday's show, watch for Devon to protect his family's legacy. Devon will likely tackle the potential threat Dumas poses by going to meet the mysterious mogul at his home in France. He probably won't be alone, as several Genoa City power players have also received an invitation to go abroad. Dumas's identity will likely dictate which characters are going to be most affected by his presence.
