Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is a man of his word. He promised Nikki that the locket he gave her before her birthday wouldn't be the only gift she received leading up to her big day. On Wednesday, watch for Nikki to receive a special gift from Victor.

Will it be something material like jewelry or the rebuilt ranch? Or will Victor give her the best gift of all, a promise to drop the feud with Jack (Peter Bergman) and accept Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Claire (Hayley Erin) as a couple? Victor has a great track record of giving great gifts. So, we're hoping that Nikki loves what Victor gives her.

Claire's plan is for Kyle to present Nikki with a fabulous gift at her upcoming birthday party. The gift is going to have to be pretty spectacular to win Victor over to accepting Kyle into Claire's life. On Wednesday, watch for Kyle and Claire to put their plan into motion.

Does this mean the two will be headed to Fenmore's department store to find just the right present for Claire's grandmother? Or is the gift going to be a grand gesture? Claire probably knows that Nikki's birthday present can't be too spectacular. It would not be a good idea to overshadow any gift Victor has in mind for his wife.

Homecoming

Diane (Susan Walters) has been a bit concerned as to what Traci's (Beth Maitland) reaction will be to the redone Abbott mansion. Jack let his wife know that Traci and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) have seen photos of Diane's finished home project and that they were met with a positive attitude. However, Diane is likely still wondering how Traci will respond to her efforts.

On Wednesday, watch for Traci to come home to Genoa City. She left town to go to New York following the ordeal with Martin (Christopher Cousins), who was posing as his twin, Alan. Traci has always been the glue of the Abbott family. Watch for her to see in person the home she grew up in and how it looks today. Traci's a very kind person, but she's also honest. We're betting that she'll be very truthful with Diane about her redone home.
