Against his parents' advice, Kyle (Michael Mealor) is determined to ask Claire (Hayley Erin) to marry him. Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) aren't opposed to welcoming Claire into the family. They just don't think Kyle should rush into things or look upon asking Claire to be his wife as a solution for her anger right now.
Claire is upset that Kyle didn't tell her the truth about locking lips with Audra (Zuleyka Silver) in France so he could expose her scheme with Victor (Eric Braeden). On Monday's episode, Kyle is going to pop the question. Will Claire say yes or no to becoming Mrs. Kyle Abbott?
True colors
Jack and Diane have a solid marriage. They're unified at work, at home, and in the advice they give Kyle. However, this doesn't mean their union is harmonious all the time. On Monday's episode, Jack is going to see Diane's true colors. Will this have anything to do with Diane's recent run-in with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) in Chancellor Park?
Jack is going to witness Diane's true colors, but that doesn't mean he's going to necessarily disapprove of what he witnesses. He knows his wife takes action to get the job done. She does what she needs to do. Jack might be first in line to applaud his wife for doing what's best for the Abbott family.
Second chances
Audra has been maintaining her innocence for weeks now regarding her scheme with Victor and her plan to break up Kyle and Claire so that Vibrante would thrive. Alas, Audra has lost much. She lost Victor's support. Also, Nate (Sean Dominic) pushed for the truth, prompting Audra to walk away.
