With all the business warfare on The Young and the Restless and the discussions about using AI software to take over the Genoa City companies, it feels like this would be the perfect time to bring back tycoon Tucker McCall (then-Trevor St. John).
Some fans speculated Tucker might be Aristotle Dumas. Before the reveal in France, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) even told Victor she thought Dumas was Tucker. He set her straight and told her Tucker was in prison in India. And when Kyle (Michael Mealor) was arguing with Audra (Zuleyka Silver) last week, he blamed her lack of humanity on her past relationship with Tucker. Sometimes when a character from the past gets mentioned multiple times on Y&R, it's a foreshadowing. Could Tucker possibly head back to GC after he serves his time?
What happened this week on The Young and the Restless

Cane (Billy Flynn) stunned Billy (Jason Thompson) on The Young and the Restless this week when he cancelled Billy and Sally's (Courtney Hope) launch party for Abbott Communications and offered Billy his AI software, giving him the power to take down Victor (Eric Braeden). Victor and Adam (Mark Grossman) wish they could get their hands on the software. But Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) have serious reservations, knowing it's a crime that carries a ten-year prison sentence.
But Tucker would have no qualms about using it, since he fought dirty and was obsessed with taking over Jabot. And he would most likely try to steal Chancellor Industries also, since Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) was his mother.
Cane and Tucker would probably hit it off

Tucker would admire Cane for being able to amass such a huge fortune in only six years. He would want to visit his train and have a drink with him. Victor doesn't like Cane or Tucker, and neither does Jack (Peter Bergman). So Tucker and Cane would be the outcast businessmen of Genoa City, and misery loves company.
Cane would be impressed by Tucker's ruthlessness. We saw a prime example of that when Tucker paid Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) two million dollars to hack into Billy's bank account in 2023 to make it appear he stole money from Jabot. Cane may decide he could use a guy like Tucker on his team.
Let's see Tucker in scenes with Michael, too

On Friday's episode of The Young and the Restless, Michael (Christian LeBlanc) accepted Cane's job offer, although his true motive is to spy on Cane for Victor. If Tucker teamed up with Cane, maybe we would get Tucker and Michael in scenes together. We never really saw them interact much the last time Tucker was on the show. They could be interesting scene partners, since Cane hired Michael to be his fixer, and Tucker would think nothing of asking Michael to fix his problems, too.
Tucker had a fairly large fan base, and with Cane's return and all the GC business people concerned about the future of their companies, we need Tucker back on the canvas to help Cane shake things up. If they joined forces, they could be the next two business powerhouses of Genoa City. Move over, Victor and Jack!
