Women directors are finally getting their chance to shine, and former General Hospital star Kimberly McCullough (Robin Scorpio) is definitely riding the wave.
Hot on the heels of directing an episode of Fuller House, the actress announced that her next directing gig is helming an upcoming episode of The Bold Type.
"On to Direct The Bold Type next! Here we come Montreal!!!" tweeted McCullough about the exciting news along with the hashtag #ladydirector. "Super stoked about this one."
The Bold Type, currently in its second season, centers on the lives and loves of the staff of Scarlet, an international women's magazine. The series stars Katie Stevens, Aisha Dee, Meghann Fahy (ex-Hannah O'Connor, One Life to Live), Matt Ward, and Sam Page (ex-Trey Shepard, All My Children).
The exciting announcement that McCullough will be directing an episode of the Freeform series comes directly after the California native shared how she celebrated the accomplishment of directing two episodes of Netflix's One Day at a Time: by eating crab!
In addition to directing Fuller House and One Day at a Time, McCullough has also directed Pretty Little Liars.
