Do you think Guiding Light will live on past its final CBS episode? » The story: An update on Guiding Light's future Yes. I am confident that it will continue as a daily serial somewhere else. Yes, but I think the show will be scaled back to a weekly series. I think CBS will reconsider and bring the show back for another year. I think parts of GL will be spun-off into some other sort of program. I believe that GL will become an Internet-based program.
