The latest Next Level Baker finale episode saw Stefanie Embree taking home the big win. Along with the title, she also won a $25,000 prize pot and a Hexclad prize package. Stephanie won the first-ever Next Level Baker Winner title.

The episode started with six finalists. This included:

Next Level Baker: What happened during the finale?

Six finalists faced a challenge to make a savory comfort food showstopper. While Stephanie and Jeff were on the top level, Zoha and Chloe were in the middle with Nikki and Deirdra in the basement kitchen.

The first ones to enter the final five were Stefanie and Zoha, followed by Chloe and Nikki. Soon, Dierdra also joined them, leaving Jeff out of the competition.

As Jeff was sent home, Gordon told him:

"Jeff, what you cooked here as a dish was exceptional, but the big discrepancy for all three of us is it wasn't a holiday bake."

Next Level Baker's Jeff noted that it had been a joy for him to be in the baking show.

"I would have loved to have been able to bake in the finale, but the other bakers I'm baking with are just so talented, so I can walk out with my head held high," added Jeff.

Five finalists went through the final baking challenge. It was to bake a three-tier cake. They had to use each level of the kitchen to bake each layer of their cake. Additionally, they needed to have a different flavor profile.

After their final bake, the judges chose Stefanie as the winner. After winning the competition, she noted that it felt amazing.

"I have such a wonderful feeling that supported me through all of this. This has been the best privilege of my life. Thank you. These women are so incredible. It’s been such a gift. I’ve worked really, really hard for so many years. Coming here and winning this, all that hard work and sleepless nights, the tears, it’s all been worth it," shared Stefanie.

She talked about how, despite not being trained, anything could be done. She said that it was going to be Christmas "for the books" for her.
