Phyllis freaks out after she thinks the police know it was her in the car that ran them down. She calls off her wedding to Danny. After talking to Paul and Christine, she realizes that nobody knows it was her. Danny learns that Phyllis called off their wedding and confronts her. Neil finds out through a detective agency that his wife signed a contract with a modeling agent. When he confronts Dru she tells him that is was his fault she lied. Nina is still in a deep depression. Cole tries to help by putting her back to work. Hope learns that Kurt's wife and daughter were killed in a car accident. Jill sleeps with Dennison and he tells her that the deal is hers. Jack, Jill and Nick sign the deal with Dennison even though Jack knows that Victor will not be pleased. Nick thinks his dad will be proud of him.

Cole stops by Nina's to pick up the research and she makes pasta for two. Kurt was ready to walk out the door but something Ashley said made him open up to her about what happened. She booked two tickets to Cape Cod and convinced him to face his past. Victor returned to the news of the Dennison deal and was not a happy man to find out Jack went behind his back after he told Jack he didn't want the deal. Neil comes home to talk to his wife as she was leaving for Tahiti.

Dru and Malcolm take off for Tahiti after Neil asks her to stay. Olivia and Neil bond. Victor blows a gasket when he finds out about the Dennison deal, but in the end tells Jack and Jill that if they don't make it work they will be out of Newman Enterprises. Ryan comes home. Victoria and Cole are at a standstill. Kurt and Ashley arrive in Cape Cod, and Ashley finds a letter to him from his dead wife. She reads the letter: Kurt's wife had left him.

Nina and Ryan move back in together, but Nina still works for Cole. Nick is angry at Victor's reaction and decides to leave Newman Enterprises. As soon as the baby is born, he and Sharon will move away. Chris thinks she is pregnant, but later finds she is not. She and Paul decide to wait a year then start a family. While Dru is away, Neil and Olivia get close and even kiss! Josh becomes angry at Victor for spending so much time with Nikki at the ranch.

Walking home in a blizzard, Sharon slips and falls, hitting her head and losing consciousness. Unknown to Dru, Neil calls her agent and tells him Dru isn't interested in working. Dru finds out what he has done and they fight. After hours in the snow, Sharon is found.

Josh returns home to find Nikki in Victor's arms. Josh demands that Victor stop coming to the ranch. Katherine plans a dinner and invites Ashley - without telling Kurt. Jill meets Keith's daughters. Nick and Sharon celebrate their first wedding anniversary in the hospital. Vicki tells her father and Cole goodbye, she is going away to 'find herself.' Just as Sharon is ready to leave the hospital, she begins bleeding and is ordered to bed.

It is a tense week for Sharon, as she worries about the baby. Nina goes out to a bar where she finds a friendly stranger to dance with. Separately, Ryan and Paul go searching for Nina and both end up finding her at the bar. Paul watches from the shadows as Ryan confronts his wife and escorts her home. Sharon is taken to surgery as a distraught Nick begs the doctor to save his wife and baby.

Nina continues to deteriorate. She again visits a bar alone. She meets a man and while sharing a drink he slips the 'date-rape' drug into her drink. Luckily an undercover policeman spots this and rescues Nina. Dru is offered a dream job in Paris but turns it down. Later, after Neil calls her agent and turns down the job for her, the agent releases Dru from her contract. An angry Dru packs her bags and goes to Paris with Lilly. To Josh's dismay, Victor calls in all kinds of specialists for his grandchild. Sharon is finally able to visit the baby in the nursery. A man shows up to look at Kurt's house with the possibility of buying it. Alone in the bedroom, he searches the dresser drawers. Diane and Victor have dinner together.

Ryan leaves Nina and takes Phillip with him. Ashley catches Grant taking photos of him and Linda. He explains that he and Linda were having an affair but now he is back with his wife. Ashley keeps quiet but as they are preparing to return to GC, Kurt puts a packet of photos in his bag. Grace and Tony are on a quest to find Sharon's first baby. Dru returns from Paris. Neil looks on as Dru gives an interview in which she talks about how much he has done for her. Sharon can leave the hospital, but not without the baby, she insists.

Kurt finds the incriminating photos of Grant and Linda. Ashley gives him Linda's last letter. Kurt returns to the Cape and confronts Grant with a gun, but gives up when Grant's wife appears. Sharon and Nick have their son baptized and name him Noah. Grace and Tony get closer to the truth about Sharon's first baby. Diane and Victor once again go out to dinner. Danny plans a welcome home party for Phyllis but she isn't pleased. It is discovered during a conversation between Nina and Cole that they made love at the cabin several months ago.

Danny chastises Phyllis for being rude to 'their' friend, and sends her apologies to Chris. Grace and Tony discover a small girl is living with Mildred - Sharon's daughter. They tell Mildred about Sharon and the life that Cassie could have with her mother. Mildred promises to think about giving Cassie back to her mother. Neil and Dru have a heart-to-heart and agree that they have to work on their marriage. Nina tells Cole that it meant something to her when they slept together even though she realizes it meant nothing to him. Cole thinks she should tell Ryan. Nick is in the nursery when Noah's heart stops. He rushes to tell Sharon and she demands to be taken to the ranch. On the way there she realizes she needs to be with her baby. When they return to the hospital they are told the baby is alive!

Little Noah's heart stopped because of a lung infection. By the end of the week he is breathing on his own. Dru and Neil are finally on the right track again. Everyone seems happy for them except Olivia. Kurt invites Katherine for an evening out. They join Ashley and Hope. Hope chokes on a piece of steak and Kurt has to do an emergency tracheotomy. It is discovered that he is a surgeon. Victoria returns to GC but to a cool reception. Nick and Sharon make plans to move to Seattle as soon as Noah is out of the hospital. Doris plans to go with them. Mildred agrees to allow Cassie to return to GC with Grace and Tony.

Cole moves out of the tack room but by the end of the week he and Vicki come to an uneasy truce and he moves back in. Vicki learns Ryan has her job and Victor tells her if she wants it back she has to take it. Nick and Sharon hold their baby as Noah gets stronger. Nick makes travel plans for the job interview in Seattle while Doris begins to pack for the move. Grace and Tony arrive in town with Cassie. They take her shopping in preparation to meet her mother. Grace visits the hospital to tell Sharon about Cassie, expecting to find a grief-stricken new mother. Victor wishes Nick luck with his interview. Phyllis turns down a trip to LA with Danny because she is worried about Sasha's return to GC.

Vicki finds Ryan running Brash and Sassy and is not happy when he will not step down and let her back into the position. Grace goes to the hospital with the intention of telling Sharon about Cassie but is surprised to see Noah. She leaves without telling Sharon that she has brought her daughter back to her. Sasha returns to GC and attempts to blackmail Phyllis. Phyllis convinces her that Danny doesn't care for her. Sasha leaves after receiving a small check from Phyllis for the manuscript. At the airport she sees a newspaper with a picture of the happy couple. Victor invites Diane to dinner in his private dining room and offers her a big job renovating all the Newman Enterprise buildings.

Nick goes to Seattle for his job interview. At first it appears that they are interested in him, but he finds that all they want him for is to get to his dad. Sasha demands $20,000 from Phyllis, and gives her four days to come up with the cash. Jack wonders why Diane is so happy. Grace can't bring herself to tell Sharon about Cassie. Tony tries to convince her that Sharon will want to know about Cassie even though she has Noah. John finds Jill and Keith kissing. Jill says she is tired of this and is moving out. John refuses to let her take his son. Later Jill takes Billy and leaves. John calls the police but they can't do anything. Phyllis is desperate to get money. Victoria meets with Victor: either she gets her job back or she will do like Nick and look elsewhere.

Nick hides out all week feeling sorry for himself about Seattle. Sharon finally tells him she is tired of lying to his parents. He agrees to go see them, but they visit him. Jill and Billy are having a grand time at the hotel while John is running all over town trying to find them. He swears that Jill will not get his son. Victor looks at the plans that Diane is working on, he likes them so much that he kisses her. Nina feels she is making progress, but falls apart when she sees Ryan talking with Trish. Dru confronts Olivia about Olivia's feelings for Neil. Malcolm tries to tell Neil about Olivia's feelings, but chickens out. He and Olivia appear to get closer. Sasha discovers that tabloids will pay twice what she demanded from Phyllis.

Ryan is promoted to VP of the men's line. Victoria gets her old job back as head of Brash and Sassy. Jill visits Nina and is supportive of her efforts to pull herself together. She tells her about Ryan's promotion. Nina arranges a congratulatory dinner with her and Phillip attending. After dinner, Ryan goes to Trish. Sasha tightens the pressure on Phyllis to get the money. Meanwhile she goes to Christine and offers her information on Phyllis. Christine is shocked to learn that Michael Baldwin is up for a parole hearing. Paul encourages her to attend the hearing. Dru and Olivia have words about Olivia's feelings for Neil. Sharon tells Nick that the college will allow him to graduate at the end of the summer session if he attends night classes and takes a heavy course load. Sharon visits Grace and meets Cassie, but does not know that Cassie is her daughter.

Trish has fallen in love with Ryan but doesn't know that he is married. Jill and Keith spend the week trying to find the best way to tell her. Sasha is on a roll. She collects $10,000 from Phyllis, then goes to Christine and offers the information for $50,000. Chris and Paul attend the Michael Baldwin parole hearing. Many people testify to Michael's changed behavior. Chris insists that Michael is still a threat to women and should not be released. Dru agrees to try to have another baby. The announcement is taken badly by Olivia. Out of sight of Neil, Dru continues to take her birth control pills. Phyllis pawns her engagement ring for another $7,000.

Phyllis confronts Sasha and offers her the $7,000 she got for her engagement ring. Sasha lets it slip that she is negotiating with Christine. Phyllis slaps her and she falls onto the bed. Chris and Paul discover the hotel where Sasha is staying and arrive there demanding her room number. Meantime, Kurt has finished giving medical care to another resident. As he is leaving he sees smoke from under a doorway. He finds someone overcome by the smoke, with a scrap of paper in her hand. He removes it and absently puts it in his pocket while he begins CPR. Chris and Paul follow the fire and rescue folks up to the room and discover that the patient is Sasha! Phyllis begins to tell Danny her secret, but is interrupted. The next morning she tries again to tell him, but they are interrupted by Chris and Paul with the news of Sasha's death.

Tony continues to encourage Grace to tell Sharon about Cassie. Cassie visits the ranch for the Memorial Day party and everyone is impressed by her. Grace suddenly realizes she is out of money. She tries to get her job back but they are not hiring. Phyllis gets her engagement ring back. She and Danny are on their way out of town for a vacation. She remembers visiting Sasha. As she leaves, Sasha is alive and laying on the bed. Chris and Paul are still trying to find out what Sasha was holding over Phyllis' head. Chris gets another letter from Michael Baldwin. In prison, he learns that his potential employer has withdrawn his offer of work but another firm has offered him a job - in Genoa City. He doesn't want to return to the city where Christine lives. The parole board meets to discuss Michael. Trish is having second thoughts about breaking up with Ryan, especially after discovering that he is separated from his wife. Malcolm proposes to Olivia.

Trish tells Ryan that she didn't mean it when she said she was in love with him. She tells her sister that she will make him fall in love with her. Diane returns Jack's engagement ring. Jack and Victor discuss a business problem, and Jack goes to Copenhagen to fix it, without telling Diane. When Diane confronts Victor, he denies sending Jack away. Grace begins working at the Crimson Lights. Tony drops by with Cassie and reminds her that he has to go to work at 4. Sharon and Nick are there and offer to take care of Cassie until she gets off work. Sharon feels an instant bond with Cassie. Danny and Phyllis return from their vacation. Danny takes a gift from little Danny to Chris, and she interrogates him about Phyllis' relationship with Sasha. Chris and Paul are convinced that the money found in Sasha's room came from Phyllis.

the celebration Dru receives a call from her agent: she and Malcolm should be prepared for a big modeling job. Malcolm says he isn't leaving. Victor blames Kurt for Hope moving out of the penthouse. Kurt refuses to be bullied by Victor. Nikki throws a private birthday party for her husband, then they go to NYC. Phyllis is desperate to raise the money she borrowed from Dr. Reid. Phyllis tells Danny that she borrowed the money from Dr. Reid to give to Sasha so Danny pays the loan back. Sharon has a cold so Grace agrees to spend the night at the ranch. Nick is out celebrating the end of the semester, drinking with the guys. As a plastered Nick comes home, Grace prepares to sleep in the nursery - where Sharon has told Nick she will be.

Nick arrives home and makes love to Grace, thinking she is Sharon. Once upstairs he realizes that Sharon is in bed. Jack and Ashley arrive at the Colonnade Room only to find Diane and Victor there, dining and dancing. Discovering that Sasha worked at the same lab where Phyllis had the paternity test done, Paul and Chris travel to NYC, but are unable to see the records. Phyllis receives Sasha's manuscript in the mail with a note promising that others will see it too. She goes to Christine's office, finds the manuscript and steals it. Michael is released from prison and starts his new job. He wonders why Christine hasn't called: Phyllis took the letter informing Chris of his release when she stole the manuscript.

The reporter at The Inquisitor gives all his 'Sasha' notes to Christine. Chris and Paul confront Danny and Phyllis and tell all. Danny doesn't believe their story and orders them out of the house. Diane finally admits to Jack that Victor is the secret client. Jack is stunned and suspicious that Victor is planning a new headquarters and he knew nothing about it. Phyllis talks Danny into moving away. Nina follows Ryan to the restaurant and discovers him with Trish. Later she follows as he takes her back to his place.

Jack confronts Victor about Diane after seeing a picture of the two of them in the paper. Victor admits he has become fond of Diana but it has nothing to do with getting even with Jack. Christine runs into Michael Baldwin at the courthouse and is surprised to learn that he is out of prison. Nick confronts Grace about that night. Once Grace admits they slept together he says he has to tell Sharon. Danny tells Phyllis that he wants the paternity test repeated before they leave town. Visiting Katherine for advice, Danny is advised not to pursue the paternity question. Christine visits the law office where Michael works and insists that the office staff be told why Michael was in prison. Victor gives Diana an expensive diamond bracelet. Veronica calls the ranch and learns there is a new Mrs. Joshua Landers.

Victor brings Diana to Nikki's barbecue. After telling her how he feels, Jack and Ashley leave. As Josh is leaving a woman calls to speak to Dr. Landers. Nikki answers and the woman asks who she is. "I am his wife," Nikki answers. Later Veronique leaves the hospital and walks down a country road. As a car approaches she leaps in front of it, clasping a picture of Josh Landers in her fist. Katherine visits Christine and tells her to stay out of Danny's life. Phyllis entices Brian to GC. She drugs him and takes a sample of his blood. At the laboratory she manages to slip the label from Danny's sample and put it on Brian's sample. Ryan tells Trish that he is going back to his wife. Grace tells Nick that he took advantage of her the night he mistook her for his wife. Victor gives Diane an engagement ring. Nina accompanies Ryan to Olivia and Malcolm's wedding.

Before going on a cruise, Phyllis visits a doctor and he prescribes fertility pills. Victor gathers his children together and tells them of his engagement to Diane. He then visits Nikki and tells her. Nikki doesn't take the news very well. She visits Diane and accuses her of going after Victor because he has more money than Jack. Malcolm and Olivia honeymoon in Bermuda. Malcolm surprises Olivia by having Nate flown in to join them. Jill buys Nina a membership in a fitness club. Nina, Ryan and Phillip have lunch at Gina's where Megan is treating her sister Trish to lunch.

Phyllis and Danny return home, the paternity test will be ready tomorrow. Nikki disapproves of Victor's engagement to Diane. Victor and Diane choose Oct. 4th as the wedding date. Nick is behaving suspiciously. Sharon is sure he is hiding something from her but he denies that anything is wrong. Trish calls Ryan on his cell phone but it is Nina who answers. Trish remains silent but Nina tells her that Ryan is a married man. The paternity results are in: Danny is Daniel's father. Chris and Paul, who are there for the results, are stunned. Victor visits Diane's office and sees her passionate embrace with Jack.

Ryan cannot get Trish off his mind. Nina follows Ryan and watches as he and Trish have lunch. After Ryan leaves, Nina blasts Trish for interfering with her marriage. Ryan blasts Nina after Trish tells him of the run-in. Danny returns to the lab and wonders why he got an incomplete report. He had three tests done but only got results on one. Embarrassed lab workers inform him that he cannot be Danny's father. Danny and Phyllis have it out and Phyllis admits that she lied. Danny moves out and wants a divorce. Later when Danny comes to visit little Danny, Phyllis calls the police. Cole visits Ashley's office and tells her he wants to 'pick her brain' about the perfume business for his new novel. Cole warns Nick that he is asking for trouble if he goes along with Grace's idea to not tell Sharon. Nick decides to come back to Newman Enterprises after graduation. Grace also takes a job at Newman. Victor demands answers from Josh re: the death of his first wife. Meanwhile Veronique has her bandages removed. When she looks at herself she is delighted to see that she looks much different. Chris becomes Danny's attorney and suggests that he not move out of the apartment.

Victor and Diane's relationship continues to deteriorate. Josh is furious about Victor's interference. Nina, Ryan and Phillip share a wonderful night out and it looks like Nina and Ryan are getting closer as they share a kiss. Cole continues to pursue Ashley's help with his character study. Michael does not want to represent Phyllis against Danny, but his boss tells him he will help with the case or be fired. If he is fired he will lose his parole. Grace wants to start work immediately and Victor agrees. Danny discovers he can sue for custody even if he is not the natural father. Trish discovers where Ryan will be having lunch. She and Alex show up pretending to be lovers in an effort to make Ryan jealous. Victor asks Diane to accompany him on a trip.

Ryan is unable to perform and they quarrel. The next day Nina visits Jill. When she sees Trish eavesdropping she describes the romantic evening she shared with Ryan. Trish is broken-hearted. She visits Ryan and makes guarded accusations which he doesn't understand. Paul is angry when Chris stands him up to be with Danny. Victor and Diane arrive back and start spreading the news. Hope becomes angry and decides to go back to Kansas. Kurt accompanies her back to her farm. Diane breaks the news to Jack. Sharon returns and confronts Nick. Sharon leaves to confront Grace.

The date for the custody hearing is set. Phyllis takes off with Daniel for a vacation. Danny is furious but there is nothing he can do. Nikki's housekeeper resigns. In the hospital, Veronica has a new roommate. She looks up Dr. Josh Landers on the Internet. Veronica says she is going to GC and 'live with Nikki.' Cole and Ashley share a kiss. Victor plans a surprise party to announce to the world that he and Diane are married. Sharon confesses her fears to Nikki who doesn't think it was only Sharon's imagination. Ryan learns that Nina talked about the 'romantic night' when Trish was listening. Amid tears of his wife and son, he leaves.

To everyone's surprise, he has nothing but kind words for the newlyweds. Keith discovers that Ryan and Nina no longer live together and he is determined that Ryan will not get mixed up with his daughter. After a shouting match in Ryan's office, Keith threatens to get Ryan fired. Later when he tells Victor that he wants Ryan fired, Victor refuses. Neil asks Olivia for the name of a fertility doctor. Veronica is ready for laser surgery to get rid of her facial scars. Soon she will be released from the hospital.

Later Phillip walks in on another passionate moment between Ryan and Trish. He yells that she is the reason his mom is gone and he hates them both. Veronica is hired as Nikki's new housekeeper. Dru books a gig out of town after learning that Neil has taken a fertility test. Later she and Sid come up with a plan to deal with the situation.

Ryan arrives home and sends Tricia away. As Nina puts the gun to her head, Ryan dives for the gun and it goes off. Neil's fertility doctor gives him some good news while Dru worries about what she will do. Victoria returns. Tensions mount between husband and wife, while Victor learns that there is a new, but married, man in Ashley's life. Nick and Grace work late into the night and share an embrace.

The police suspect a love triangle is the cause of Nina's shooting, especially when Ryan's fingerprints are found all over the gun. Ryan is arrested and John Silva takes on his defense. At his arraignment he is bound over to the Grand Jury. Jill, Keith, Megan, and even John Silva try to convince Tricia that she should stay away from Ryan, but Tricia doesn't believe she is hurting Ryan with the truth and she leaves home. Victoria moves back to her old room in the ranch house. She tells her mother that she is going to make Cole want her desperately then she is going to kick him to the curb. Meanwhile, Cole continues to pursue Ashley while not telling her where he stands with Victoria. Dru sees her fertility doctor; after her exam, the doctor asks to see both Dru and Neil in her office. Nina is finally questioned by the police but she can not remember any of the circumstances surrounding the shooting---including buying the gun.

Ryan is out on bond but he is warned NOT to see Nina. He doesn't believe that Nina can't remember the shooting so he visits her anyway and insists that she try to remember.

Diane gathers up her courage and tells Victor that she wants to have his baby. Unfortunately, Victor tells her that he has just had a vasectomy. Danny learns that Daniel has seen Phyllis and Michael Baldwin kissing. He takes his child from the apartment. Katherine convinces him to take Daniel home before he ruins his chances of custody. Danny arrives back at Phyllis' apartment just as she is calling the police to report her son being kidnapped. Nina tells the police that she now remembers what happened the night of the shooting. However, the police find out about Ryan's visit to Nina (against court orders) and feel that her account is now tainted. John Silva tells Ryan that he doesn't see how this case can not go to trial now. Sharon and Nick plan a surprise dinner party, which will hopefully bring Cole and Vicki back together. But the surprise is on them when Vicki brings a date. Victor tells Ashley that he believes that Cole is seeing another woman. Ashley surprises Victor by admitting that she is the other woman.

After one failed attempt at walking, Nina is finally able to walk to the conference room to talk with the district attorney and the police. When it is time for her to be discharged from the hospital, Ryan arrives but Nina sends him away. She doesn't need him any longer. In his attempt to find evidence on Phyllis, Danny searches her apartment. After being convinced by Phyllis not to mention to Danny the tranquilizers he once gave her, Dr. Tim changes his mind and agrees to testify for Danny. The war between Ashley and Victoria for Cole's affections grows. Neil discovers Dru's birth control pills. He is devastated that she has been lying to him

Neil feels betrayed by Dru so he shuts everyone out. Dru is frantic to find out what is wrong with him. He tells Victor that Dru betrayed him with a lie and he doesn't believe he can stay married to her. Nikki invites Victor for Thanksgiving. Diane finds out that Nikki suggested that Victor get a vasectomy. Phyllis and Danny are interview by the social worker handling Daniel's case.

Diane learns that it was Nikki who suggested that Victor get a vasectomy. She persuades Victor to have Thanksgiving at their penthouse apartment instead of out at the ranch. Phyllis, Dr. Reid, and a toxicologist testify for Danny's side at the custody hearing. Cole is discovered by Miguel to be sick and a doctor is called. Victoria and Ashley fight over who will play nurse for him. John and Kay have a luncheon date which was arranged by Ashley. Neil remains cold and distant with his family; Dru accuses him of being in love with her sister. While refilling her birth control pills, Dru discovers that Neil refilled them just two weeks ago---at the time when he first became cold and angry with her.

Ryan and Tricia are overjoyed when Nina files for divorce, but Keith is worried that his daughter will be dragged through the mud. Upon learning that Nina is being conciliatory with the divorce, Tricia goes and thanks her; Nina very quickly throws her out. The custody hearing is under way, but when called to testify, no one can find Brian. The Newmans gather for Thanksgiving dinner at the ranch. Except for some coldness between Nikki and the current Mrs. Newman, everything goes well.

Neil moves out of the apartment and into Ryan's apartment leaving Dru and Lily devastated. The custody trial continues with Danny's testimony. Tricia again approaches Ryan about moving in together, but Ryan told her that he already has a roommate. Jill and Keith decide to allow the girls to redecorate their bedrooms as Christmas gifts. Paul is assailed by doubts after seeing Chris and Danny in what looked like a tender moment. Sara made Josh's favorite meal and Nikki wondered how she knew it was his favorite.

Danny testifies in his custody case, but he isn't too happy with his treatment from Phyllis' attorney. Neither was Danny pleased when the social worker and child psychologist testify that Phyllis would make the better parent. Jack suggests that Diane "play sick" in order to get out of Christmas at the ranch. Grace asks Tony to marry her after Cassie writes a letter to Santa with that as her only Christmas wish. Cole finds Vicki in his bed dressed in only her birthday suit, but he declines her invitation. Sara thinks about showing herself to Josh, but decides that he isn't the problem. She has to take care of Nikki first and she intends to get started right away.

Phyllis testifies and loses control; she blamed Christine for the breakup of her marriage and for Danny's suspicions. Court was recessed for the holidays. Tricia delivered Ryan's Christmas present early and invited him on a ski trip to Aspen. Unknown to each other, Cole and Ashley each travel to New York. They meet accidentally in Steve's office. Vicki decides to surprise her husband by going to New York, but she is the one surprised. Cole and Ashley are starting to make love for the first time when Vicki steps out of the bathroom dressed in a sexy teddy. She grabs a "coat" and heads for the nearest bar where Cole later finds her with two guys. She tells him she is NOT going back to GC with him. Malcolm tries to get Dru and Neil together for Christmas Eve, but isn't having much success. Dru is scheduled to leave for Hawaii to begin a shoot the day after Christmas. Grace wants to move away from GC with Tony and Cassie.

Tony gives Grace an engagement ring for Christmas and keeps pushing her to tell Sharon about Cassie. Danny and Phyllis fight over who will have Daniel for Christmas. Ryan gets the chance to visit Phillip and Nina the day after Christmas. Neil refuses to attend the Christmas Eve party at Malcolm's even after Lily begs him over the phone to come. He finally does show up after the party is long over and finds Dru and Lily have flown off to Hawaii. The Christmas party at the ranch is interrupted by a call from the hospital telling Victor that Diane has been admitted with a bleeding ulcer. Nikki doesn't believe she is really ill and says so. From the hospital, Victor calls Nikki and tells her she has been cruel to his wife.

Victor demands that Nikki go to the hospital and apologize to his wife. Nikki goes to the hospital, but not to apologize. During the argument, Diane tells Nikki that she hates her for telling Victor to get a vasectomy. But, she tells Nikki, unlike you, I don't need a child to hold on to him. Cole spends New Year's Eve with Ashley while Victoria goes to Jack's party. Tony gives Grace an ultimatum: tell Sharon in one day or I will tell her myself. Grace threatens to take Cassie and leave if he does that. Dru gets her hopes up when she arrives home and finds Neil there. But he is there only to give Lily a Christmas gift.
