Blue Lock chapter 312 spoilers show Nagi finally succumbing to darkness

The Blue Lock chapter 312 leaks have revealed that the installment will be titled U-20 World Cup, directly taking place moments before the match against Nigeria begins. Isagi strengthens his resolve, calling himself a tool to make Japan the best in the world.

The World Cup announcer then starts introducing the members of Blue Lock Japan. With fancy descriptions, he calls out the goalkeeper Gagamaru, followed by the defenders Aiku, Niko, and Aryu.

After this, Chigiri and Hiori are brought out as the fullbacks. The chapter keeps shifting back and forth between the players and Nagi, who is in the arena. Convinced that he is no longer part of Blue Lock due to his loss, Nagi decides to search for his passion again.

Nagi then starts running past a security guard into the VIP floor. As Karasu, Bachira, and Reo are announced as the midfielders, Nagi continues his internal monologue, having become aware that he can’t just stay by Reo’s side any longer or play football for the sake of his friends.

The strongest striker, Rin Itoshi, then enters the field to the exhilaration of fans. Finally, as Blue Lock’s prodigy, Isagi Yoichi, is introduced as a forward, Nagi simultaneously enters Buratsuta’s room. Wishing to feel the ecstasy of being the center of the world again, the Lazy Genius asks the JFU Chairman whether he has a spot open for him.

Embracing his darkness, Nagi shares that he doesn’t care if he has to crush Blue Lock to become the best, much to Buratsuta’s delight. Back on the field, the first match is all set to begin, as the Nigerian forward Onaji openly challenges his opponents. Blue Lock chapter 312 ends with the match between Japan and Nigeria kicking off, as Isagi expresses his desire to get to the top.

Blue Lock chapter 312 brief analysis

While Blue Lock chapter 312 primarily focuses on Japan’s opening lineup that is set to face Nigeria, the highlight is Nagi finally deciding to become a villain. Since he has chosen to take part in Buratsuta’s test, the three most likely candidates who will join the main cast during the World Cup will be Sae, Kira, and Nagi.

With Isagi having settled into the role of being the center of the team and someone solely dedicated to Japan’s growth, he will likely undergo significant changes over the course of the tournament. This sets the stage for an interesting reunion between him and the “Buratsuta 3”, each of whom shares a special relationship with the protagonist.
