Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 22 has been the topic of discussion among numerous fans. There is absolutely no doubt that the recent set of chapters has entertained the fanbase. The stakes are higher than ever, and it seems like the protagonist is in deep trouble. His return to Konohagakure was memorable since fans witnessed his newly perfected techniques. He was able to defeat Code with just one move, the effects of which are permanent.

However, he now finds himself taking on Jura. The Shinju have caused a lot of problems ever since they managed to gain sentience. It all started with Jura, and others have followed suit. Now, Jura has managed to locate Boruto’s whereabouts, and things are getting quite dicey. Jura has entered the battlefield and even launched an attack in Boruto’s direction.

However, the latter managed to use the Flying Thunder God technique to counter it. There is one thing that we can derive from Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 22, and it is Momoshiki’s return. We know that the protagonist is a full-fledged Otsutsuki now. Both Eida and Kashin Koji firmly believe that Boruto would not make it out alive, should Jura go all-out against him.

Boruto even used his Rasengan Uzuhiko, and it was of no use since Jura was able to counter it. His trump card failed, and his troubles seemed to have started mounting. The only logical move that would give him a fighting chance against Jura would be to allow Momoshiki to take over. Furthermore, Momoshiki explicitly stated that he wouldn't let Boruto die, since he was a precious vessel. Therefore, the signs are quite clear for his return to the story.

Momoshiki has been dormant for quite some time and is portrayed as one of the most devious characters in the series. Therefore, we may see Momoshiki’s return following the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 22. Given Boruto’s updated arsenal, Momoshiki’s involvement might give him the edge that’s necessary to defeat Jura.

However, that might have dire consequences. Boruto obliterated Kawaki during his initial interaction in the Two Blue Vortex series. As soon as Kawaki activated his Karma Mode, Boruto fled the scene immediately.

The conclusion of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 22 will give us a hint at the possibility of Momoshiki’s interference. We already know that he is one of the most powerful Otsutsuki entities. Not only does he have the perfect vessel, but the vessel in question also has the Jogan, which is known as the Pure Eye. It will be interesting to see how Momoshiki’s Otsutsuki abilities will be put on display in the coming chapters.

Why does Momoshiki’s return following the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 22 make sense?

From a writer’s perspective, Momoshiki has spent a considerable time on the sidelines. His absence implies the possibility of plotting, and Boruto’s battle against Jura would be the perfect time for the character's return. There isn’t a single person who can take on Jura and win. Boruto is Konohagakure’s only hope, and even he can’t defeat him. Furthermore, most Shonen titles introduce a power-up at such a juncture.

Therefore, the conclusion of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 22 could mark Momoshiki’s return. Furthermore, the writers are yet to reveal more about the Jogan. Given that the series is inching closer towards its conclusion, now would be a good time to uncover some of its abilities. Momoshiki’s return would serve two main purposes - resuming his duties as an antagonist and potentially revealing the Jogan’s capabilities. These are some of the reasons why Momoshiki’s return following Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 22 makes complete sense.

Momoshiki Otsutsuki is one of the prime antagonists who has been sidelined for quite some time. His return was teased during the protagonist’s initial interaction earlier in the Two Blue Vortex series. As discussed earlier, Momoshiki’s return to the story would be perfect for a couple of reasons. However, only time will tell whether or not the writers intend to bring him back following the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 22.
