Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 25 primarily features three events: Konohamaru and Moegi’s reunion, Sarada’s heartfelt conversation with Sumire, and Boruto’s deal with Momoshiki. As a result, the installment is both touching and intriguing, hinting at upcoming developments in the series.
In the previous chapter, Kawaki valiantly fought against Jura while Boruto helped them escape using his Flying Raijin Jutsu. Having defeated the forces of the Human God Trees, the group then decided to return to Konoha with the Thorn Soul Bulbs.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 25 showcases Boruto making a deadly deal with Momoshiki
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 25 picks up right from the previous installment, as Konohamaru inserts Matsuri’s Thorn Soul Bulb into the tree where Moegi is incapacitated. After the bulb is absorbed and smoke is released, Moegi falls into Konohamaru’s arms and opens her eyes, resulting in a tear-jerking reunion.
Boruto sees the scene unfold while floating in the air. Later, Shikamaru gets word from Sunagakure that Shinki has also been revived, and that Gaara is safe but still unconscious due to the effects of his sealing jutsu. The Hokage is then called away by the elders.
In Konoha’s hospital, Sakura explains that Moegi is fine but that her chakra flow is disrupted, with the possible cause being Matsuri draining her power. In a sweet moment, Moegi and her students reunite, while she thanks Konohamaru for saving her. Meanwhile, Sarada asks to speak with Sumire and guides her outside.

As the two girls awkwardly begin their conversation, Sarada picks up the courage and brings up their earlier discussion about their feelings toward Boruto. Realizing she had been cowardly before, she takes time to analyze her emotions and wonders whether she cares about him as more than a teammate.
Though facing internal turmoil for a long time, Yodo’s dying words finally get through to her. Deciding not to deceive herself any longer, Sarada admits to Sumire that she likes Boruto, too. Eida, who is sneakily observing the scene with the Senrigan, is shocked by this confession.
Sarada further explains that she is driven by the desire to get stronger to help Boruto, and that it could even push her to become Hokage. Thanking her for her honesty, Sumire smiles back and declares that she won’t hold anything back anymore. Meanwhile, Eida is annoyed that such a tense situation took place when she wasn’t around.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 25 then shifts the scene to Himawari, who is training with Kurama inside her subconscious. Despite trying her best, she struggles to gain the upper hand and is scolded by Kurama for not mastering her chakra control.
While he tries explaining the concept of being a Jinchuriki to her, the young girl fails to understand it, prompting him to stop the training session. Boruto, who is listening in on this from outside the house, opens his own subconscious realm and talks to Momoshiki. The Otsutsuki displays a sulking attitude, unable either to control the host or reincarnate.
However, Boruto changes his mind by offering a deal: he asks Momoshiki to defeat Jura one time, promising to offer his entire body in exchange if his wish is fulfilled. Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 25 ends with Sarada and Sumire happily walking together, agreeing that Boruto is likely unaware of their feelings.
