The day the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie actually reveals Kokushibo’s full entrance will be wall-to-wall cinema energy. The way he looks, calm and monstrous, signals what is about to ensue. Fans who witnessed how Akaza made his entrance will know that Kokushibo has arrived at a new level.

His aura alone is enough to make demon slayers shake in their uniforms. And the sound of his sword drawing will send chills down everyone’s spine. As the camera lingers on his six eyes and emotionless expression, viewers will know instantly that they’re witnessing the arrival of the strongest Upper Rank in Demon Slayer Infinity Castle.

2. The Clash with the Hashiras

The moment Kokushibo crosses blades with Gyomei, Sanemi, and Muichiro will redefine what “battle choreography” means in Demon Slayer Infinity Castle. Also, keep in mind that in the middle of their battle, the Hashiras woke up their demon slayer marks, and Kokushibo was still keeping up. It’s a glorious display of power and precision. In contrast to Akaza’s brute force and martial-arts style, Kokushibo's fighting resembles that of a swordsman from another age.

As a former demon slayer and master swordsman, he is a king in his own right. Every swing carries both the skill of a top demon slayer and the power of a monster. The clash of blades, mixed with Gyomei’s weapon and Sanemi’s relentless attacks, will make fans’ hearts race. The balance of teamwork and fear in this sequence will be one of the defining moments of the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie.

3. Moon Breathing

For anime-only watchers of Demon Slayer Infinity Castle, one of the things that will surprise them most is the sight of a demon using Breathing Techniques. There was Kaigaku, but Kokushibo is in a separate tier. It would be exciting to watch Kokushibo’s Moon Breathing. It is gorgeous and just difficult to fight against. The way his crescent-shaped slashes will fill the screen, shrouded in an eerie light, will silence the theatre.

Whereas Akaza’s skills were speedy and burst-like, Kokushibo’s resonate with a rhythm that is methodical and bears you down. This moment will make fans realize why even the most seasoned Hashira fear him. When his sword carves through space, it’s not just an attack; it’s a spectacle that defines the word mastery” And after having that many years of experience, it is to be expected.

4. Muichiro’s Brave Stand

Muichiro Tokita, the Mist Hashira, is the first to confront Kokushibo in the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle. Upon seeing Upper Rank One, Muichiro felt immense power and fear from the one he was facing. The moment they first met, Kokushibo was able to tell that Muichiro was his descendant and practised Mist Breathing.

Sure enough, after some chit-chat, Muichiro jumps into the fray, and all hell breaks loose. Muichiro Tokito’s battle against Kokushibo will be one of the most beautiful scenes in Demon Slayer Infinity Castle. It was a valiant effort from the first Hashira shown on screen to take on an Upper Rank Demon (Gyokko) in a one-on-one and win. But Kokushibo showed him that they were not on the same level. His speed, breathing technique, and precision overwhelmed Muichiro.

5. The Big Brother Appears

In the middle of Kokushibo’s fight with Muichiro in the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle, Genya tries to sneak up on them, only to end up getting speed-blitzed and losing his hand. When he went in for the kill, Sanemi pulled up. In a weird and uncharacteristic way, Sanemi tells his brother what he feels towards him and what he hopes for his life. Genya, who was lying on the floor, shed a tear at what his brother said.

Without wasting time, Sanemi jumped into battle with Kokushibo. The battle was very intense as Sanemi was able to keep up with Kokushibo fairly. It was in this fight that Sanemi identified what was special about Kokushibo’s techniques. He said that Kokushibo’s slashes were surrounded by more slashes that can change size and length. Add this level of randomness to a character as strong as Kokushibo, and he just becomes more difficult to fight against.

6. The Strongest of Them All

Just when you thought that putting a blade through Muichiro, putting Genya out of the game, and giving Sanemi multiple injuries wasn’t enough, Demon Slayer throws in another Hashira on deck. The Stone Hashira, Gyomei Himejima, will also make an appearance to show why exactly he's regarded as the most powerful living demon slayer in Demon Slayer Infinity Castle. He whooshes in to save his colleague, Sanemi, at the last second and steps up to take on the series’ second strongest demon.

But if you thought not being able to see, or that lack of a Nichirin sword, would make Gyomei an underdog here, well, think again. His power and calm versus Kokushibo’s speed is going to make for one of the most compelling matchups in series history. While Akaza’s fight had its emotional highs, Gyomei’s performance here is pure dominance and resolve. His weapon clashes with Kokushibo’s sword in a storm of sparks and fury that will light up the screen.

7. The Breaking Points

Every great battle in Demon Slayer Infinity Castle has a moment where hope seems lost. For Kokushibo’s fight, it’s when the Hashira are pushed to the brink of death. Bodies are broken, weapons shattered, and yet the flame of resolve refuses to die. The first time, he stabbed Muichiro and stuck him to a pillar. Then, he split Genya in half; he damaged Sanemi to the point that, according to him, if he moved, his internal organs would pour out. At one point, Gyomei lost his arm.

Time and time again, Kokushibo beats them down, and they keep coming back. He cuts fingers off, legs, arms, and still, they keep coming back for more. This section of the movie will likely have little dialogue, just raw visuals of pain, blood, and determination. It’s the perfect representation of what Demon Slayer Infinity Castle stands for: human willpower versus the impossible.

8. Kokushibo’s Transformation

If fans thought Akaza’s regeneration scenes were shocking, Kokushibo’s transformation in Demon Slayer Infinity Castle will leave them stunned. Kokushibo transformed twice in his fight. The first time, he released plenty of blades from his body, some of which cut Muichiro’s lower body off, and some cut Genya in half, vertically. As the battle pushes him past his limit, Kokushibo attains a new form. After being beheaded, the thought of losing made him angry, which caused him to start regenerating his head (faster than Akaza’s).

To get away from his attackers, he cuts Muichiro’s other hand and avoids the other attacks coming his way. His new form blurs the line between man and demon, beauty and horror. He had two horns on his head and the root on his body, born from Genya’s Blood Demon Art becomes tendrils that he can control (like Muzan). At this point, it becomes clear that only the sun can defeat him.

9. Kokushibo’s Flashback

No fight in Demon Slayer Infinity Castle will hit harder emotionally than Kokushibo’s flashback. After transforming the second time, he sees his reflection on Sanemi’s sword and starts to think back to his brother, Yoriichi. The moment he remembers his brother, fans will finally understand his pride, jealousy, and sadness.

He wasn’t just a monster. He was a child who wanted to be a majestic samurai. Kokushibo questions himself in the moment on whether this is what he truly wanted to become. The flashback will humanize him in a way that even Akaza didn’t. It shows that beneath all the power and rage, Kokushibo was still chasing something he could never reach.

10. Kokushibo’s Fall

The end of Kokushibo in Demon Slayer Infinity Castle will be as heartbreaking as it is satisfying. After all the blood, pride, and fury, his final moments will tell the real story of his life. As his body crumbles, he recognizes the error of his ways. This was not what he wanted for himself. We see his journey from times with Yoriichi to his becoming a demon.

The silence after his fall will feel surreal, as he was a very high mountain to climb and at a serious cost. Fans will realize they didn’t just witness a battle; they witnessed a story about envy, regret, and redemption. And his final words: “Why in the world was I ever born? Tell me... Yoriichi,” will make plenty of fans weep. This ending will surpass Akaza’s in emotion and scale, marking an unforgettable close to his arc.

Conclusion

The Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie is shaping up to be one of the most intense arcs in anime history, with Kokushibo’s fight marking the beginning of it all. Though Akaza’s fight was a supreme blend of emotion and action, Kokushibo’s will crush it beneath his heel. And fans are certain to walk out of theaters enraptured, as they’ve just seen not another fight, but one of the greatest throwdowns ever in anime.
