What to expect from Sakamoto Days chapter 227 (speculative)?
Sakamoto Days chapter 227 will likely focus on Lu’s desperate struggle against the police assassin as well as the countless citizens who have been revealed to be supporters of the JAA. Having had very minimal screentime till now, the installment may showcase the training and power-ups she has undergone till now.
Additionally, since Sakamoto’s vitals are currently dropping, the next chapter may also shift the scene to the protagonist’s vision, where he is conversing with Rion.
Sakamoto Days chapter 226 recap
Sakamoto Days chapter 226, titled More Than Friends, Less Than Assassins, continued Heisuke’s battle against Kumanomi and the masked assassin. While the sniper expressed his resolve to hold back his opponents no matter what, the masked assassin returned unhurt from being set on fire.
Right as Heisuke was shocked by his opponent's durability, the wrestler delivered a brutal clothesline on him. This caused him to be pushed into several innocent civilians, though he managed to barely dodge them. While Kumanomi questioned why he wouldn’t cushion himself using the bodies of others, Heisuke was satisfied since he had already managed to distract them.
Watching Heisuke’s actions, the masked assassin developed a sense of inferiority, enraged at being made to look like the bad guy. The scene then shifted to the armored truck carrying Sakamoto, where Shin was still unsure about his decision to leave Heisuke behind.

However, they soon had problems of their own as the vehicle got caught in a checkpoint and inspection. Soon, one of the new JAA’s recruits, who was disguised as a policeman, approached them and demanded to check inside in his search for a criminal. When he opened up the trailer, Granny Miya had taken Sakamoto’s place in an effort to hide him.
Unfortunately, Sakamoto’s vitals suddenly started dropping, allowing the “policeman” to see through the ruse and pull a gun at the protagonist’s head. Though Shin attempted to use his mind control to stop him, he soon realized how dire the situation was when every person in their surroundings approached the truck, revealing themselves to be allies of the JAA.
Just as the “policeman” prepared to shoot Sakamoto, Lu hit him and jumped off the truck to hold him back. Sakamoto Days chapter 227 ended with Lu signalling Shin to keep going and take care of Sakamoto, Aoi, and Hana.
