The Solo Leveling universe has no shortage of powerful figures whose strengths defy comprehension. Sung Jinwoo is the biggest testament to this, but he is surrounded by various other Hunters with impressive abilities. Thomas Andre stands at the top of this list, initially introduced as an opponent to the protagonist but growing to become one of his biggest allies.

Thomas Andre is one of the most powerful individuals in Solo Leveling and is the top-ranked Hunter in the world. He is a force to be reckoned with, whose mere presence causes those around him to be intimidated.

Thomas Andre is one of the five National Level Hunters in Solo Leveling. He had taken part in defeating the very first S-Rank Gate containing the dragon Kamish and is one of the most respected figures in the series.

Thomas is a towering man who is aggressive, prideful, and cares a lot for those under him. He runs the Scavenger Guild, which is the strongest Guild in America. His group has various talented Hunters who both fear and respect their leader. Thomas, in turn, also goes to great lengths for them.

Unfortunately, this can be excessive too, as Thomas fought Jinwoo for Hwang Dongsoo despite knowing his subordinate was in the wrong. Despite losing against the protagonist, Thomas displayed great capability and was able to put up a valiant fight. He was also gracious in his defeat and became one of Jinwoo’s friends.

As one can guess from Thomas’ figure, he is mainly a Tanker with unmatched durability. His senses are honed to the extreme, where he can exhibit incredible strength, speed, and reflexes. Due to this, Thomas was a central force of humanity and judged to be its strongest Hunter.

Most importantly, Thomas Andre is a vessel of the Rulers. Due to his celestial connection, he can undergo Spiritual Body Manifestation and use telekinetic abilities. Thomas can also use a special skill known as Reinforcement to reach his ultimate form. This covers him in golden armor while heightening his attack and defense.

Through all his skills, Thomas could go toe-to-toe against Sung Jinwoo in the International Guild Conference Arc. He could also damage the protagonist, but ultimately lost since the Shadow Monarch had grown too much.

Is Thomas Andre stronger than the Monarchs in Solo Leveling?

Thomas Andre is undoubtedly one of the most powerful and influential characters in Solo Leveling, but he is not stronger than the main antagonists, the Monarchs. During the war against the Monarchs, Thomas was present in Korea and faced the Monarch of Fangs, Rakan.

Despite his best efforts, however, he was quickly defeated. Nevertheless, Thomas did not give up and continued contributing to the final struggle. Consequently, he worked along with Jinwoo’s shadows to defeat the Monarch of Iron Body, Tarnak.
