Due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, The Bold and the Beautiful began broadcasting special throwback episodes until it was safe for the cast and crew to return to work. In honor of the 47th Annual Daytime Emmys, The Bold and the Beautiful rebroadcasted five episodes that won its performers Emmy gold -- and they featured all the soap staples: affairs, long-lost relatives, and lots of drama. This episode originally aired on September 1, 2010. In the episode, Liam was unhappy to learn that publishing magnate Dollar Bill Spencer was the father he never knew.

Bill was cocky and admitted that he was not ready to become a father, but he said they would work it out. Liam asked what Bill knew about Liam's mother. Bill appeared bitter. Bill answered by telling Liam that his mom was beautiful and very successful in a cutthroat business. She'd made a conscious decision not to tell Liam about his father -- it was no accident.

This episode originally aired on June 22, 2017. In this episode, Zende confronted his father-in-law, Julius Avant, over his bigotry and poor treatment of his transgender daughter, Maya, who was adopting her sister Nicole's biological daughter.

Zende didn't know where Julius was leading Nicole, but Zende believed it wasn't right. Nicole asserted that Julius understood. She said Zende didn't know what it was like hearing that she was infertile and hearing Lizzy call her mommy. "Don't you get it?" Nicole asked. Zende replied that he didn't know. He'd wanted badly for her first child to be his, but it hadn't been. Instead, it had been Rick's. Zende said that they would be parents, but not to Lizzy.

This episode originally aired on May 13, 2002. In this episode, Stephanie schooled a mortified Brooke on how she would present herself to the media gathered at a Forrester Creations press conference.

Aghast, Stephanie said she had believed that Brooke's only saving grace had been Brooke's love for her children. Stephanie railed that Bridget had been too much competition for Brooke, which Brooke called sick. Deacon tried to intervene, but Stephanie yelled for him to shut up and remarked that Bridget was more than Deacon deserved in a million lifetimes. Deacon had thrown Bridget in the gutter for the whore of Beverly Hills. Brooke slapped Stephanie, who fumed she would kill Brooke then and there if Brooke weren't pregnant.

This episode originally aired on August 5, 2011. In the episode, After hearing from Taylor that Bill and Steffy were having an affair of the heart, Katie suffered a heart attack.

Later, Katie let herself into Steffy's loft through the unlocked front door. Steffy hurried over to the winded Katie and said she shouldn't be there in that condition. Katie replied that someone had to deliver the news that Bill would never be with Steffy -- or set foot in that house again. Steffy refused to discuss it, and Katie quipped that it was probably harder when Steffy had to look at Katie. "Life is tough on cowards," Katie seethed.

This episode originally aired on January 2, 2018. In the episode, Steffy pleaded with Liam not to leave her after he realized that she'd slept with his father, Bill.

Liam softened and begged her to help him understand. Steffy cried. Liam realized that the night the she had left him was the night she'd been with someone else. "I want to take it all back," Steffy cried. Liam was angry and noted that she had lied to him about riding around, stopping at the guesthouse, and more. Steffy admitted that she had been riding around that night and had wanted to be alone, so she'd gone to the guesthouse at her grandfather's house. Liam assumed she'd called someone, but she said, "He just showed up."
