The Bold and the Beautiful What-to-Watch Moments, July 9: The fight to save Luna and her victims

What to expect on The Bold and the Beautiful

Luna (Lisa Yamada) claimed she wasn't threatening anyone and didn't intend to kill anyone, especially since she was just a different person now who just wanted to be seen and understood. Killing people was very last summer for her. Well, it just may be this summer, as well.

Waving a gun around while having no idea how to really use it didn't help matters much for Luna. First, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) tried to get the gun away from her and ended up taking a bullet. Then, Liam (Scott Clifton) burst in and startled her, causing everything to go haywire.

Now, Sheila, Liam, and Luna are down, and the team at University Hospital must do everything they can to save them. Finn (Tanner Novlan), Grace (Cassandra Creech), and Bridget (Ashley Jones) prep for surgery, determined to save three lives. Luna really did it this time and may end up with more blood on her hands than ever before. It doesn't look like her dad is going to want to be friends with her anytime soon.

Carter's vow

Hope (Annika Noelle) and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) seem to be oblivious to what was going on with Steffy, Luna, Sheila, and Liam. Instead, they are enjoying some alone time and planning for their future. They can't wait to get married and be a little family. Carter even vows to be the best stepfather that Beth could possibly want.

Of course, Carter is aware that Beth still has her real father, so he insists that she has to spend as much time with Liam as possible while she still can. Carter will never take Liam's place in Beth's life, but he can be there for her when she needs him.

Little do they know that Liam's tumor has been growing and his heroic act could take him from them sooner than they think. How will Hope feel when she gets news that Liam is in trouble thanks to Luna and her lunacy? Maybe this is how the truth about his illness is finally revealed.
