What to expect on The Bold and the Beautiful

Hope (Annika Noelle) was in a state of shock when Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) got down on one knee and whipped out a diamond ring he'd clearly been keeping on reserve for a while. She and Carter had just reunited that morning, so a marriage proposal was the last thing she expected.

The last time anyone proposed to Hope, she was also taken aback and wore the ring around her neck for months. She just couldn't give Thomas the answer he wanted to hear or any answer at all, for that matter. However, she is ready to give Carter an answer.

Will she make him feel like Thomas and reject him, or just tell him maybe? Or will she throw caution to the wind and say yes? Is the eternal wedding officiant about to be a groom himself? Carter has tried this a few times before, but something always seems to happen to ruin his trips down the aisle. (Leaving a jilted bride for Quinn was on him.)

Liam and Finn bonding time

Liam (Scott Clifton) and Finn (Tanner Novlan) have finally become friends after Finn called him a "Little Puke" almost two years ago. Sometimes things can change when a man is dying, and life is put in perspective.

After breaking down and thanking Finn for being there for Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and his daughter now and in the future, Finn and Liam spend more time getting to know one another and becoming friends.

Ridge and Brooke's confusion

After Daphne's departure, Steffy finds herself defending Hope. This leaves Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) completely perplexed. How did Steffy go from never wanting Hope to step back in the building again to rehiring her and defending her? It just makes no sense.

Steffy talks things over with Taylor (Rebecca Budig), who knows why Hope is back in Steffy's good graces. When Ridge walks in on that conversation, does he start asking questions? Will Steffy finally tell her father that Liam is dying?
