The Bold and the Beautiful really pulled a fast one on the audience — and on poor Liam. It turns out he never had brain cancer after all, so whoops, false alarm. But Liam's own clumsiness was apparently what got him there.
Grace Buckingham's big, bad idea

Somehow, another Dr. Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) decided that Liam's (Scott Clifton) life was ripe for the picking. Her ex-husband caused Liam and Hope (Annika Noelle) to believe their baby had died, and now Grace caused Liam to believe he was dying from a brain tumor for the last four months. And both of them chose to mess with Liam of all people to pay gambling debts.
We are now supposed to believe that Grace needed money so badly back in March that she let a man believe he was dying for months because there was no other way for her to get her hands on this cash.
She couldn't have started a GoFundMe or turned to her daughter's fiancé's extremely rich family for a little loan? Nope. Instead, she clearly forgot the "First do no harm" part of her oath and came up with a long and elaborate scheme to essentially ruin a man's life and bilk his father out of money. However, the way she came up with this insane idea has us giggling. Heck, it has us laughing so hard, we can barely stop.
The Bold and the Beautiful's premier head banger has quite a history

We all know Liam has a habit of falling on his head, but usually, his falls don't amount to much. The last time one of Liam's head-banger moments landed him in a long and convoluted plot was when he woke up with no memory, but believed Quinn (Rena Sofer) when she told him his name was Adam and she was his wife, Eve.
Adam and Eve lived together in secret for months until Liam's memory finally returned and he reunited with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) during a dramatic beach moment. Never mind that she was married to his brother, Wyatt (Darin Brooks), at the time.
Grace saw Liam's medical history and deemed him the perfect candidate for her harebrained scheme, no pun intended. That's just wild to us, and we're not sure whether to be happy or furious.
Liam's tumor story started out with such promise. We thought we were going to get a compelling death and dying story, but instead, it feels like it became a punchline. But at least Liam will live, so all's well that ends well — right??
