The Bold and the Beautiful's Li Finnegan is no shrinking violet. In fact, she is often the voice of reason with so many delusional characters because she just tells it like it is — no holds barred. Naomi Matsuda never fails to entertain when Li chooses to go off, and entertain us is what she did this past week, making her Soap Central's Performer of the Week.
The Bold and the Beautiful's Li has had it
The look on Li's face when Poppy (Romy Park) popped into Finn's (Tanner Novlan) office early in the week said it all. "Here we go again," was all Li could think. Even without the dialogue, Matsuda let us know exactly what was going through Li's head. She wasted no time getting into it with her sister as Li dropped insult after insult. Matsuda looked as if she was relishing every moment as Li used her Nozawa power to put Poppy in her place.
The look of disgust Li carries around is now a Matsuda hallmark, while Li tries to forget she even has a horrible sister who seduced her college-age son all those years ago.
Matsuda's Li is also a force to be reckoned with whenever she orders her son around. Finn is steered, if not led, by both Steffy and Li, but when Li does it, it's so much more fun.
Li puts Bill in his place
Ever since Bill found Li living like a homeless woman outside Il Giardino in 2022, the chemistry between Matsuda and Don Diamont has been undeniable. We can't be sure if it's romantic chemistry or not since The Bold and the Beautiful refuses to go there, but they are excellent scene partners.

Matsuda makes sure that Li is one of the few people who can ever humble Dollar Bill just a bit. There are not too many people to whom Bill would ever admit to making a mistake, but he did so with Li. Matsuda made us chuckle as Li pretty much demanded that Bill grovel. While he didn't, he did look a little afraid of her. As we know, Li's bark and bite are pretty much equal. She will stand behind her words, and if you do anything to mess with anyone she loves, that Nozawa power will come out in full force.
