Here is what happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Steffy confronted Taylor about the inappropriate touching she witnessed between her mother and Deacon. She demanded confirmation that Taylor wasn't getting involved with him. Steffy heard Taylor tell Deacon that she could be the woman for him. There was no use for Taylor to play dumb and continue her denial.
Steffy yelled that not only was Deacon a married man, but he was Sheila's husband. That was a fact that Taylor shouldn't take lightly. Her patient's wife was one of the most unstable individuals she'd ever encountered. Steffy knew what she saw, and she was concerned about her mother breaking her code of ethics.
Steffy reminded Taylor that Sheila was a threat to their family. It wouldn't be the first time that Sheila harmed Taylor, so she knew exactly how dangerous Sheila could be. Taylor referred to Deacon as a remarkable man, but Steffy couldn't allow her to overlook who he was married to.
Steffy shouted at Taylor that Deacon was "married to a lunatic." Sheila was a career criminal who committed crimes across the country, from Los Angeles to Genoa City. Taylor questioned if perhaps Sheila had truly changed, but Steffy didn't think saving her life one time erased a lifetime of sins.
Taylor acknowledged that her daughter was right, and she promised that they hadn't crossed any lines. Steffy understood that nothing happened physically, but emotional boundaries had been crossed. Steffy worried that Sheila would turn Taylor into her next victim if she ever learned what happened.
Steffy was happy to see Taylor moving on, especially after Ridge chose Brooke yet again. Deacon wasn't the right move, though, in her eyes. Steffy pleaded with Taylor to choose anyone but Deacon.
Taylor praised Deacon for putting in the hard work to turn his life around. She found him to be charming and funny, and Steffy was appalled that her mother genuinely fell for him. Despite Steffy's level of disgust, Taylor felt seen for the first time since Ridge. However, Steffy shut her down and demanded that she stop.

At Il Giardino, Deacon reflected on his conversation with Taylor about how a romance between them was strictly forbidden. Deke interrupted his father's daydream and asked what troubled him. Deacon claimed he was thinking about Deke's potential to work with Katie at Logan.
Deke wasn't confident that things would pan out with Katie's new venture. He didn't want to get his hopes up after what went down at Forrester. Still, Deke wouldn't budge and wanted to know what had Deacon so distracted. Deacon knew how Deke felt about Sheila, and despite his commitment to his wife, someone else had caught his eye.
Deke appeared to relish the idea that Deacon could potentially move on from his murderous bride. He asked his father if he knew the mystery woman, and Deacon ultimately admitted that it was Taylor. Deke was stunned to learn that his therapist had caught Deacon's eye.
Deke was elated that Deacon was open to finding someone who wasn't Sheila. Deacon basked in the joy that Taylor brought into his life. Deke told Deacon that everyone at the restaurant avoided Sheila, and getting away from her would be the best possible thing in his life. Deke thought Taylor was far more worthy of his attention than his criminal wife.
Deke offered support to Deacon if he opted to pursue it. He thought his father was surrounded by constant negative energy because of Sheila. Deke reminded Deacon how Sheila withheld the truth about Luna from him, allowing him to know his friends' killer was on the loose.
Deke worried that Sheila would go off the rails again, and this time, Deacon would be her target. Deke listed all the reasons why Taylor was a better woman for Deacon. However, Deacon was adamant that she was his therapist, and for now, that wouldn't change.

Elsewhere, at Forrester Creations, Ridge worked on a new sketch as Brooke popped in looking for Carter. She needed him to view a few contracts, but Ridge insisted that he needed to focus on keeping Daphne in Los Angeles. Brooke knew that Daphne wasn't the biggest fan of Los Angeles, but she thought she had finally settled in.
Brooke referenced all of Carter's failed relationships. They hoped this wasn't a case of history repeating itself. Nobody has tried harder to become a married man more than Carter has. This could be his final chance at true love.
Brooke wondered if Steffy had divulged any additional information about Taylor's love life. She wanted Taylor to find happiness with any man not named Ridge. To Brooke's surprise, Ridge was amazed that Brooke had the capacity for kindness for Taylor after all of their decades of animosity. Her "concern" for Taylor made him feel even closer to his wife than he already did.

Daphne pleaded his case to Daphne and begged her not to leave for Paris. Daphne appreciated how much Carter fought for her, but she wanted to avoid hurting him in the future. She believed that it was best to walk away from Los Angeles and everything that entailed.
Carter pleaded with her to recognize that home didn't have to be Paris. Instead, she could have the same sense of security there with him. Daphne thought the fantasy of her and Carter being together could be better than living the real thing
Daphne hit Carter directly in the heart and said, "I'm not like you, Carter. I don't need a relationship to fulfill me." He didn't think that was the case, and he droned on about how Daphne enticed him from the start. Carter refused to lose Daphne from his life.
Daphne reminded Carter that she'd remain only a phone call away, but that wasn't enough. He wanted all of her. Carter apologized for refusing to listen when Daphne previously confessed her feelings for him. He was with Hope at the time and blinded by that infatuation.
Carter thought he and Daphne had much more potential, and he knew she still cared. Daphne agreed with his assertion, and the two kissed in the Forrester showroom.
