At the Forrester showroom, Hope and Brooke were thrilled at the latest designs for Hope For The Future. Brooke was happy to see Hope working on her line again, and Hope was extremely grateful for the opportunity. She got a text from Liam, who asked her to meet at the house. Brooke encouraged Hope to keep an "open mind" and an "open heart" because she loved Liam.

Donna was elated to hear that Hope and Liam were on a potential path toward reconciliation. They recalled the effect Hope and Liam's divorce had on them, and Donna understood why Liam would want to repair their relationship. Brooke confirmed that Hope would always love Liam, which hinted at a positive outcome for the couple. Brooke knew that Hope's happiness would come once she and Liam reunited their family.

Liam brought in Katie to serve as Beth's babysitter, and he thanked her for helping him out. She told him to take the time he needed to tell Hope how he truly felt. It was time for Hope and Liam to be reunited. Hope showed up not long after, and Liam proclaimed that seeing her took his breath away. He explained that Katie was there to watch Beth, so they could hang out. Liam was certain what he wanted for his future, and he knew who he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.

Liam brought up his fake tumor, but what wasn't fake was the genuine fear that he felt about his mortality. In that moment, Hope and Liam thought their time together was coming to an end, and it was a wake-up call about what mattered in life. For the first time in a while, there was hope at the end of the tunnel, and Liam reminded her of a pledge she made during his "dying days." She vowed to be with him until the bitter end, but now that he's healthy and there's more time between them, he hopes the offer to spend their life together is still on the table.

Liam held Hope's hands as he recounted the moment he realized that Hope would be by his side during his faux tumor days. A sense of clarity washed over him, and once Hope said she loved him, he knew. Liam wanted those words to be as true now as they were then, and she agreed that they were. She will always love him, and he wants to spend every day with her. Liam had a moment of self-awareness and started, "I've put you through a lot. I know that. All I can do is promise you that you'll never have to question my commitment to you again."

Suddenly, Liam pulled a ring out of his shirt and got down on one knee. He asked Hope to put their family back together, and he awaited her to say yes and restore his happiness. Liam's smile widened as she said, "Yes, Liam. I will marry you." They kissed, and Beth and Katie stormed the room to congratulate the newly reunited husband and wife-to-be.

Sheila received a knock on her door, and it was Li who stopped by after she ordered food. Li hadn't been fired from the hospital yet, which surprised Sheila because of how vindictive Bill was. Li felt like that would make Bill a hypocrite because he arranged for her pardon in the first place. Sheila complained about the state of her marriage, and Li questioned whether Luna had the power to destroy it.

No progress had been made, but Sheila admitted Deacon was in therapy, and she was hopeful that he'd get the tools to fix their marriage. She told her that Taylor was the therapist in question, which floored Li. She was shocked that Taylor took Deacon on as a patient, considering how close she is to the situation. Sheila fought for the idea and believed Taylor had the best chance at getting through to Deacon and fixing their marital woes.

Li admitted that Taylor was known for having a large impact on the lives of her patients. However, Sheila disclosed that she eavesdropped on one of their sessions and saw Taylor and Deacon in an unexpected embrace. Sheila explained how upset Deacon was, but Li didn't understand why that concerned her. Sheila assured Li that if "Deacon and Taylor were together, if they ever did anything inappropriate, I'd kill her."

Deacon expressed frustration to Taylor about everyone demanding that he permanently end things with Sheila. She gave him the tools to realize he held the power to decide his own. Taylor told Deacon, "You both have to be reliable partners willing to follow through on promises, or else words are just words." He assumed she pulled that out of personal experience, and flipped the script on her to ask how she was doing.

Taylor thought it was a loaded question, but Deacon pressed her to discuss the elephant in the room. He called the two of them roadkill from Brooke and Ridge's endless quest toward their destiny. Deacon ripped into Ridge for breaking Taylor's heart and running back to Brooke like it had happened so many times in the past. He told her, "You have to take the pain and process it, and once you do, kick it out of your system. Why can't you just leave Ridge in the past, and make room for some new joy?" Taylor was stunned to hear her own words bounce back to her.

Taylor got her hopes up again with Ridge because she thought this was it. She assumed this would be the final time she'd have to worry about rejection or falling into second place. She broke down as they discussed the pain caused by Ridge, and Deacon jumped out of his chair, and the two shared a second, more intimate embrace.
