What will Bill do when he learns what Luna is plotting on The Bold and the Beautiful?

Let's face it, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) on The Bold and the Beautiful hasn't had a good storyline (or much luck) in years. He made the colossal mistake of getting two-time murderer Luna (Lisa Yamada) pardoned, after which she went after Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) again. Then, Dr. Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) scammed him out of a million bucks to perform emergency surgery on his son Liam (Scott Clifton) to remove a tumor Liam didn't even have.

Now that Li (Naomi Matsuda) is making an equally terrible mistake, keeping Luna in her home and letting everyone in L.A. think she's dead, it's only a matter of time before Bill discovers that another woman is targeting another one of his sons.

What happened this week on The Bold and the Beautiful

This week on The Bold and the Beautiful, Luna took a pregnancy test, hoping she was carrying a Spencer child after the night she got Will (Crew Morrow) drunk, masqueraded as his girlfriend Electra (Laneya Grace), and had sex with him. She told Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) and Li she has a plan in mind, but she didn't reveal what the plan is. We're pretty sure we know, though.

She's probably going to wait for the right moment to reveal herself to Will and then spring it on him that she's the mystery girl from that night, and she's pregnant with his baby. She probably figures being the mother of a Spencer baby will get her an automatic ticket into the good life she's always wanted.

Luna has always liked Bill. Since he didn't turn out to be her father, maybe he will become her father-in-law (if Will marries her, which is probably what she's counting on). This would tie up her big plan with a shiny red bow. Watch out, Bill! If you thought Grace put you and Liam through hell, wait till you find out what Luna has in store for you and Will. Let's hope Wyatt doesn't come back to L.A., otherwise she may find a way to go after him, too!

Where, oh where is the Dollar Bill of yesteryear?

Fans have long been disappointed that Bill has turned soft over the years and doesn't act like the fierce Dollar Bill Spencer who first blew into town in 2009, heading his father's company Spencer Publications. That Dollar Bill was a shrewd, arrogant, take-no-prisoners bad-ass who would never let anyone screw over his family the way Grace and Luna have.

Remember how he tried to fix it so Amber (Adrienne Frantz) would fall off a cliff when he thought she was carrying Liam's baby? And how he ordered his pal Justin (Aaron D. Spears) to dump Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) out of a helicopter when Ridge interrupted Bill's wedding to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang)? If Bill is going to go up against psychopath Luna, then he needs to bring out that inner fire he once had. He needs to do some serious thinking and come up with a clever but non-violent way to protect his family from her.

Even though he's become somewhat of a softie on The Bold and the Beautiful these days, though, there may be hope for him still. When Liam told him about Grace's scam, we heard a flicker of the old Bill arise when he murmured, "Bitch is gonna pay." Thankfully, Grace turned herself in to the police and confessed her crime. Now it's time Luna pays for sexually assaulting Will, for starters. What will Bill do to her?

Bill needs to make up for his mistake in getting Luna pardoned

Bill needs to be front and center in this storyline, right alongside Will, to make up for the mistake he made in getting Luna pardoned. He took pity on her and felt like he could relate to what she went through in her childhood, since Poppy (Romy Park) wasn't an attentive parent and was more interested in drugs and men. Bill said he went through a similar situation in his own childhood. Fans were angry and puzzled, wondering how he could be so kind-hearted toward a double murderer who put the mother (Steffy) of his own grandchild in a cage.

If Bill had let Luna stay in prison, where she belongs, she wouldn't be going after Will now and trying to weasel her way into the super-rich Spencer family. So, let's hope this current Luna storyline signals a rebirth of the old Dollar Bill -- the Bill so many of us loved and miss. Up until now, Luna has only known sweet and caring Bill. Now, it's time for her to meet ruthless, don't-mess-with-me Bill.
