Days of our Lives Spoilers, October 16: Cat and Rafe close in on EJ

What to expect on Days of our Lives

After sneaking into EJ's (Daniel Feuerriegel) new free clinic and snapping photos with her phone, Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) takes her new findings to Rafe (Galen Gering). The two are tasked with finding out exactly what EJ is up to, because they know he didn't buy the hospital out of the goodness of his heart.

Cat brings her findings to Rafe, and they review the photos. There is definitely something strange going on. Why would EJ need such a state-of-the-art lock and security system for something as simple as a free clinic? Will they figure out that it's a front for something else?

If they do, will they have any clue what EJ is really up to? What kind of DiMera-like experiments will EJ be doing down there and does Dr. Rolf (Richard Wharton) have anything to do with EJ's new plans? After all, the DiMeras have a mad scientist at their beck and call, so Cat and Rafe know that something strange and nefarious is going on.

Should Jeremy be giving advice?

Chad (Billy Flynn) might have a friend his age in the Horton house now that Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) is back in Salem and living there. They even have something in common, as they have both dated Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). However, they had completely different relationships with her.

When Chad and Jeremy get to know one another, Jeremy ends up giving Chad some advice. Does Chad end up telling Jeremy about his problems with Cat and Thomas (Cary Christopher)? Jeremy now sees himself as a man who knows how to deal with children, so maybe Chad will need his help.

Elsewhere, Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie find some time to celebrate. Everything seems to be going their way. Stephanie's book is a smashing success, and Alex expects the next one to be just as big, if not bigger. Plus, they are living together now. What can possibly go wrong? Since this is Salem, probably a lot. Will Jeremy decide to get in their way?
