Actress Lee Ha-nee becomes mother of two with birth of second daughter

South Korean actress Lee Ha-nee has officially become a mother of two. The actress welcomed her second daughter with her non-famous husband, with whom she tied the knot in 2021.

The news was shared with OSEN by her agency, TeamHope, through the statement:

"On the 24th, actress Lee Ha-nee gave birth to a daughter. Both the mother and the baby are currently healthy and recovering peacefully surrounded by the love and care of their family."

Continuing the statement, they wrote:

"We deeply thank everyone who has prayed and sent their hearts. We ask that you continue to watch over actress Lee Ha-nee and her family with warm blessings and love."

The pregnancy had first been reported in March this year. The couple is already parents to a daughter, born in 2022.

What are Lee Ha-nee's upcoming projects?

Ha-nee recently starred as the lead in the Netflix series Aema, which premiered in August 2025. On August 19, she uploaded an Instagram post to share an update before the launch. The caption of the post read:

"See you soon, Aema! See you on @netflixkr. The production presentation was safely completed last week with a lot of care! Thank you 🙏❤️"

The show currently holds a rating of 7.5 on MyDramaList. According to MyDramaList, Lee Ha-nee’s upcoming projects include Show Business and Klaus 47.

Show Business, starring lead actress Song Hye Kyo, is scheduled to be released in 2026. The exact date is yet to be confirmed. In her other project, Klaus 47, Ha-nee plays the lead role, though the release date has yet to be announced.

Having been the 3rd runner-up at Miss Universe 2007 in Mexico City, she gained fame on television and made her first TV appearance the same year as a guest on Radio Star.

Also known as Honey Lee, she received the MBC Drama Award for Best New Actress for her role in Iron Daughters-in-Law. She made her acting debut in the drama Partner, released in 2009.

The actress also did a pregnancy photoshoot with Vogue Korea before her first daughter was born. Uploading one of the covers in 2022, she wrote:

"169w 🦋36 weeks with Joy🦋 She will soon be born in June 🙏 Thanks @voguekorea"

Lee Ha-nee is known for keeping her personal life away from social media. The actress and her husband have chosen to keep the names and identities of their daughters private, as of now.
