Shaun Weiss, a former child star and fellow Nickelodeon actor, has responded to the situation of Tylor Chase's homelessness. A viral street clip showed Tylor Chase being homeless in Riverside, California, and speaking to Jacob Harris, who was recording the video, confirming he was the actor on Nickelodeon. Shaun Weiss responded to this in a video message, extending help to Chase:

"I have received many messages about Tylor Chase. I reached out to some friends of mine, and we have a bed for him at a detox, and we have a place for him to go and get long-term treatment. All we need to do now is find him. I’m not in Los Angeles, or I would go look for him myself. Please DM me so we can get him some help in time for the holiday."

In response to the Weiss message, Jacob Harris stated that he was going to drive around the area where he last spotted Taylor Chase to see if he could spot him. This message was then amplified by Shaun Weiss on another Instagram post.

Subsequently, Harris posted another update on his social media, confirming that Chase has been found and that he is currently at a hotel so he can decide on his own:

"Found him. Sat with him for an hour while his father and multiple co-stars called him on my phone. They explained their love for him and how much they want/need him to agree to getting help. He's now in contact with all the right people to get him the help that he needs. He has a hotel room tonight to give him time to make the decision on his own."

As of the writing of this article, Nickelodeon has not made any statement regarding the situation faced by the former actor. As mentioned above, Chase starred in a Nickelodeon show, specifically Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide. He played the role of Martin Qwerly.

After the viral clip emerged, a GoFundMe page was made to help Chase by TikToker LetHallAli. However, it was shut down later at the request of Chase's mother, who stated in text messages to LetHallAli that Chase needed medical help more than financial assistance, as per The Tab's article on the matter on December 21, 2025:

"Money would not benefit him. I have gotten him several phones, but he loses them within a day or two. He can’t manage money or his meds by himself. If you’d like to meet me at the plaza one day, that would be fine."

Chase's mother continued in her texts to LetHallAli:

"But like I said, he’s not good at managing money and it could possibly hurt him. I appreciate you trying to help him, he is a good, sweet kid. But he does need medical help."
