Bobby's death in Final Destination: Bloodlines
In Final Destination: Bloodlines, there comes a moment when JB a.k.a. William Bludworth meets the family, who tells them about two prime ways of cheating death. One is killing someone else, and another is being in a near-death situation where one is medically brought back to life.
In order to trick death, Erik, who is one of Stefani's cousins, comes up with an ambitious plan with Bobby to lift the family's curse. Erik plans to use Bobby's health condition-his peanut allergy, as leverage. He thinks of staging a near-death experience for Bobby by handing over a peanut bar to him. After that, Bobby's body will inevitably react to the snack intake, and he will therefore be saved by the medical facility.
The plan, which looked smart and effortless, ultimately failed at the hands of death's diabolical nature in Final Destination: Bloodlines. As soon as Erik and Bobby arrive at a vending machine for the snack bar, the machine begins to crash. As a result, Erik jerks the machine and probes Bobby to do the same. Bobby, whilst unsure, follows Erik's instructions. Soon, a part of the machine gets unfastened, as we see a loose spring coming off.
They still manage to procure the peanut snack. Bobby munches on it, and together they go to the scan room. As per Erik's plan, he now tries to find a wheelchair. So, as soon as Bobby's body reacts to the allergy, he can be immediately rushed to the ER. Erik exits the room to find the wheelchair.
However, one thing leads to another in a typical Final Destination style, and the MRI machine gets switched on. Things start happening in the machine as its magnetic power gets aggravated, something that both of them are unaware of. In the meantime, Bobby eats the peanut bar, and unexpectedly, at first, his body gives no reaction to the snack.
But soon, Bobby reacts to the peanut allergy and desperately seeks help. At that moment, Stefani calls Erik's phone. But remember the MRI machine's malfunction? So the magnetic energy of the machine draws Erik's phone. And soon enough, Erik's metal piercings on his face are pulled and torn apart from his face, resulting in his gruesome death.
Erik had the Epinephrine autoinjector that could save Bobby from his allergic reaction. So, after Erik dies, Bobby manages to draw the injection from him and save his own life. He gets up on his feet, and a doctor arrives. Just when the doctor checks up on him, that loose coil of the vending machine pierces Bobby's forehead. That is when Bobby meets his unfortunate demise in Final Destination: Bloodlines.
