Cardi B snapped at Offset's "obsession" after the rapper alluded that her newborn son with Stefon Diggs is actually his in a now-deleted post. According to Complex, the rapper himself was seemingly referencing reports that under Georgia law, which states that a married woman's husband is the legal father of a child born during the marriage, irrespective of the actual biological paternity of the child, unless it is challenged in court.

In response to Offset's seeming allusion, Cardi B posted a series of tweets, now deleted, stating that she felt harassed and threatened. The tweet here is quoted via No Jumper's post on the matter:

"Y'all think its funny and its not... it's been over a year and I'm still being harrased and threatened to the point that I feel like my life in danger... it's all fun and games until its too late."

In another long voice message, the singer further detailed her situation vis-à-vis Offset, here quoted via Red Media's post on November 16, 2025:

"Like I can't take it anymore. Sometimes I sleep and I wonder like yo, this is not normal. You see crime documentaries, you see sh*t on social media about women getting killed every other day and honest truth its like I'm a real tough bitch but you can never there is a difference between being tough and somebody having an unhealthy obsession with you that you have to start to be concerned -"

The singer went on:

"-and I've been starting to be concerned and I've been trying to detach myself from this shit. It just doesn't stop. When does it f***king stop. I try to be nice, contact family, or whatever. But its not working. I'm so tired. I'm getting really f***king so tired. I don't want to do things that overshadow what I've got going on. "

She later added:

"Its not funny you got these weird a** men talking about this person should be petty. Its not cute to tell someone who has a mental illness or does substances to raise children...You need to grow up... I have moved on with my life. I don't respond to sh*t. I'm tired. Everything is not funny and y'all gonna see that sh*t. If I spread this sh*t out, y'all might cry...."

Cardi B and Offset are embroiled in custody battles

Cardi B and Offset are currently locked in divorce proceedings and custody battles. Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset for the latest time in 2024. After that, the two announced their third child together in September 2024. However, despite having another child together, things between the estranged couple kept getting worse, with the duo beefing on social media and in interviews.

In February, Offset filed for joint custody of their children, with Cardi B's mansion as the primary home of their kids. Offset also asked the court to define each parent's responsibilities. In a subsequent filing in May 2025, the singer filed for spousal support, aka alimony, from Cardi B, as she is the one with the larger net worth.

This triggered further conflict between the two, with Cardi B condemning Offset for filing said spousal support petition. Subsequently, the singer claimed that Offset was delaying the divorce deliberately in a post on social media. Offset has also referenced his ex's relationship with Stefon Diggs in his new album, Haunted by Fame.
