Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse seems to be back on track, as its star Shameik Moore has potentially teased a detail about its ongoing production from Sony Pictures.
In a recent Instagram story, Moore shared a photo of himself inside a recording booth. He is standing next to a mic, which might mean that he has returned to work on his voice role as Miles Morales. His story doesn't have any specific caption, but it includes a tiny spider near the bottom left corner. So, this might be Moore teasing a key production detail about the movie.

The animated film will mark Moore's return to this franchise after the 2023 film, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Since its theatrical release, the next project had been stuck in a development limbo for one reason or another. So, the latest story from Moore offers a hopeful update on the series that will reveal the fate of his universe.
It's not the first time an actor has teased a production detail in this way. Recently, Tom Holland shared a cryptic post on his social media, teasing the start of his MCU movie's production in Glasgow, Scotland. That's why Moore's update feels like something that the Spider-Verse fans must have been waiting to hear.
Who's going to star in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse?
Miles Morales will return for another adventure with Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, expected to be released in 2027. It will show him fighting bigger threats than before.
The 2023 film ended with Miles coming face-to-face with Miles G. Morales/Prowler, who is Spider-Man's version from Earth-42. Jharrel Jerome offered the voice for that character during his brief appearance in the movie's cliffhanger ending. So, Beyond the Spider-Verse will also see him reprising his role by returning to the cast.
Other cast members in this multiversal universe include Hailee Steinfeld, who is having a wonderful year with the release of Ryan Coogler's Sinners, where she starred alongside Michael B. Jordan. She is all set to reprise her role of Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, in her developing arc with Miles Morales.
The Get Out star Daniel Kaluuya has started working on a Spider-Punk-themed film, which he is co-writing with Ajon Singh, as per an exclusive Deadline report. He is also expected to reprise this role in the third Spider-Verse movie, playing a punk rock version from Earth-138, Hobie Brown.
What else do we know about Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse?

Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is supposed to conclude Spidey's story in this Sony Pictures franchise that began with the 2018 film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
