The official promo art from Superman has surfaced online, and it features several key locations from the movie. One location from the promo art has fans hyped up for the future of the DC Universe because it is directly linked to this universe's version of the Justice League. The said location is the Earth-based Hall of Justice building, which is used by the League.

Throughout the years, there have been two iconic headquarters of the Justice League. One is the Hall of Justice, but the most popular Justice League HQ is the space station hovering over the Earth, which was heavily featured in countless animated adaptations of the team. Seeing the Hall of Justice has fans hopeful that we will get to see the Justice League on the big screen again.

This new version of the iconic superhero team will be headlined by David Corenswet's Man of Steel if things do work in Superman's favor.

Does the Hall of Justice hint that Superman is setting up the DCU's Justice League?

For a while, we have known that James Gunn and Peter Safran are setting up a sprawling DC Universe. This was something even the first season of Creature Commandos hinted at, as we saw this universe's versions of Gotham and Star City. Names of other significant locations like Blüdhaven, Metropolis, and Amazon were also heard in that show. Now, Superman seems to continue this trend.

We already know from the Peacemaker Season 2 trailer that Guy Gardner, Hawkgirl, and Maxwell Lord form a "Justice Gang", not a "Justice League". Some believe that the Justice Gang is involved in the upcoming DCU movie, while others believe that it will be formed after the events of Superman.

The Justice League does not exist in the DCU as of now. Thus, some believe that the Justice Gang is the stepping stone to the Justice League that will include iconic and little-known superheroes across the DC Universe. The Justice League is something both James Gunn and actor David Corenswet addressed in the June 10, 2025, Entertainment Weekly interview.

What did James Gunn and David Corenswet say about the DCU Justice League?

As stated before, Entertainment Weekly interviewed the cast and director of Superman last week. There, the Entertainment Weekly journalist asked Gunn if he is thinking about a DCU Justice League movie. To this, the director replied that he is indeed thinking about it, but clarified:

"Of course, of course. But there is no Justice League in this world… not yet."

When Gunn was asked whether the Gods and Monsters phase was building towards the Justice League much like the phase 1 built towards 2012's The Avengers, Gunn replied "sure", without going into much detail. Then, actor David Corenswet revealed that the idea of his Superman being a part of the Justice League was exciting. The actor's exact words were:

"I mean, that sounds awesome. I don't take it upon myself to think ahead in that kind of way, just because one would hate to get one's hopes up about anything in particular and then have it go in another direction. What I like to do is stay blissfully ignorant, and then when James tells me what's going to happen, I get to have a wonderful surprise. So if Justice League is in the back of his mind, that sounds great to me. I'll put it at the back of my mind and we'll see what happens."
