Days after Justin Baldoni’s $400 million lawsuit against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds was quashed, the celebrity couple was spotted with their kid in New York City. According to an exclusive report by TMZ from June 12, 2025, the couple was spotted strolling with their youngest kid, presumably Olin, who was born in 2023.
Lively wore a white shirt with a green sleeveless vest and complemented it with denim shorts. Meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds wore a denim shirt and carried his phone and another pair of sunglasses in his right hand.
On June 9, 2025, Judge Lewis L. Liman dismissed Justin Baldoni’s lawsuit against the couple and The New York Times. The It Ends with Us director’s lawsuit had several claims, including defamation.
Moreover, Justin Baldoni alleged that Blake Lively’s sexual harassment complaint was false and that she attempted to malign his reputation. In his ruling, Liman wrote:
“The alleged facts indicate that the Times reviewed the available evidence and reported, perhaps in a dramatized manner, what it believed to have happened. The Times had no obvious motive to favor Lively's version of events.”
After the dismissal, the actress shared a statement on her Instagram story, writing that she had gone through the emotional toll of being hit with a lawsuit meant to silence her and make her feel ashamed.
Even though the case against her didn’t succeed, she recognized that many others don’t have the means to defend themselves. The experience made her even more determined to support women in speaking up and standing up for their safety, dignity, and truth.
Here's how Ryan Reynolds once spent time with his kids
In 2022, Ryan Reynolds sat down with Kelly and Mark on their show. When Mark asked how his summer was, the Deadpool actor said his summer wasn’t exactly time off, but it was more relaxed and structured.
He worked a few hours each morning and then spent the rest of the day with his family at home. He stayed in the whole summer and enjoyed that quality time. He mentioned it was probably the best summer they had as a family.
When asked if his three-year-old threw tantrums, Ryan Reynolds joked that he was usually the one doing that. He shared that the kids did typical activities like drawing, dancing, and playing imaginative games, which reminded him of his childhood.
The actor was interviewed by Today in 2024, where he discussed his family comedy, IF. At one point, host Hoda Kotb mentioned that Blake Lively left the kids with Ryan Reynolds for the first time. When asked about staying with the four kids, he said:
“Took them all to the park, told them Mommy left when they were young. Surprisingly yeah, you get a lot of action that way. We had a good time. No one died which was nice and four kids, it’s just like you just surrender.”
Ryan Reynolds shared that when they had their fourth child, he felt happy because it meant there would always be someone around to pass along illnesses like strep throat. He joked that in their household, someone was always sick, so perfect health was never possible.
