Months after the news of Travis Hunter and Leanna Lenee’s wedding broke out, a new post has been circulating on X claiming that the two have called off their relationship. On August 16, a user (@SayLodge) shared a community post on JBTV (Joe Budden TV), which mentioned:

“TRAVIS HUNTER WIFE JUST FILED FOR DIVORCE & IS DEMANDING $40 MILLION DOLLARS.”

However, according to a report by The Sports Rush, these circulating claims are false, and Leanna Lenee didn’t file for divorce. There are no official traces of this claim, as some of these posts were shared by parody accounts.

The couple got engaged in February 2024 following years of dating. On their wedding, Hunter reportedly gifted her an expensive car. Earlier this month, the couple also adopted a kitten, whom they named Uno.

Recently, Leanna Lenee shared a self-recorded video where she reflected on how the online criticism affected her mental health. The post was captioned:

“I wish I could go back and hug December me, because oh baby, God was about to change your heart in the most important and beautiful way.”

She said that in just six months of focusing on Jesus and avoiding the pressures of the world and social media, she had grown and changed significantly. She wished that others could also feel the peace she found in Jesus and explained that what mattered was how God saw someone, not how other people judged them.

Travis Hunter looks back on his first preseason game

Travis Hunter recently played his first preseason game. In an interview with News4JAX, he said that playing his first game for his NFL team felt great, even though he was a little nervous at the start. He explained that his head wasn’t racing, but he just felt a bit nervous in the beginning, and after the first play, everything was fine. He also added:

“I did pretty good. I feel like if we had more opportunities, we would have showed them what we could really do.”

When asked about the last time he got nervous before a game, Travis Hunter said he gets nervous before every game.

In 2024, he won the Heisman Trophy. As seen in a video posted by ESPN College Football, in his acceptance speech, Hunter said he never thought he would reach this point and gave thanks to God. He also shared how much his fiancée and his mother meant to him, as they supported him since his first college surgery.

Hunter added that even during the tough days when he didn’t feel like focusing on football, they stayed by his side, and he felt grateful for them. Mentioning his father, Travis Hunter said:

“I want to say something to my father. He not here, not be able to make it but I know you watching on TV. Dad, I love you. All the stuff you went through do man. Look at your oldest son. I did this for you man.”

Travis Hunter said that even though his father couldn’t be there, he would bring the trophy home for him. He also said he loved him and thanked all the coaches who supported him when his mom moved him and his brother from Florida to Georgia.
