Wrestler Raja Jackson has made headlines after his attack on Syko Stu left the latter reportedly unconscious at a wrestling event in Los Angeles. As seen in the videos circulating online, Raja pinned Syko on the floor and landed several punches that rendered him unconscious.
Moreover, while the fight was underway, another wrestler, whose face was covered in paint, attempted to intervene. As per reports, he tried to withhold Raja, but wasn’t successful. Another wrestler with pink hair jumped in and dragged Raja away from Syko. This wrestler is reported to be Douglas Malo.
On August 24, Raja Jackson’s father and former MMA player, Quinton Jackson, shared a lengthy post on X, writing:
“I want to clear up the misinformation about my son Raja. I’ve been confirmed that the wrestler ( Stewart Smith aka Syko Stu) is awake and stable. Raja was unexpectedly hit in the side of the head by him moments before Smith’s match, Raja was told that he could get his “payback”in the ring,i thought it was apart of the show.”
Quinton further explained that it was a poor decision and things went wrong because Raja Jackson, who was an MMA fighter and not a pro wrestler, should not have taken part in such an event. He made it clear that he did not support his son’s actions. The statement went on:
“As a father, im deeply concerned with his health AND the well being of Mr. Smith. That being said I’m very upset that any of this happened, but my main concern now is that Mr. Smith will make a speedy recovery.I apologize on his behalf and to KICK for the situation.”
The time when Quinton and Raja Jackson argued over food
Earlier this year, Quinton posted a video on his YouTube channel in which he showed around a part of the house that Raja Jackson cleaned. Quinton told Raja that he was feeling hungry and thought about eating steak with vegetables. Then he changed his mind and said maybe he would just have steak and eggs, but didn’t want to miss eating vegetables for too long.
Raja said he wasn’t going to cook for three days, and Quinton explained he only meant for that day. Quinton then joked about how he had fed Raja for years, and Raja teased back that his dad mostly gave him ravioli, so he would do the same in return. Quinton said:
“I don't know how to cook. I did the best I could, son. I was a single dad. I don't know how to f*cking cook.”
Raja Jackson replied:
“Yes, you do. I seen you cook eggs and sh*t before.”
Quinton reminded Raja how he used to happily eat the ravioli and spaghetti he gave him. Raja replied that he hadn’t even known his dad could cook eggs until he was about 14, and he wished he had gotten eggs when he was younger instead of canned ravioli.
He said he was annoyed when he realized it. Quinton said he could make a good omelet, and Raja Jackson agreed, saying he had seen it and knew it was true.
