Emily Miller and Cam Holmes, who met on Netflix’s Too Hot to Handle season 2, are now engaged after five years together. Their story began on a reality show known for testing relationships, but the couple managed to turn it into a lasting partnership. Over the years, they have faced public challenges, celebrated milestones, and built a family together.

The pair met while filming the show in early 2020 and started dating soon after the cameras stopped rolling. As reported by People, they made their relationship official in January 2021 and soon went public after the show aired that summer. They moved in together and have remained close ever since, building a life beyond the reality TV spotlight.

According to Cosmopolitan, Emily Miller and Cam’s relationship has been one of the few from Too Hot to Handle to last beyond the show. Their bond grew stronger through ups and downs, leading to the October 2025 engagement that marked a new chapter for them and their son, Reggie.

The first time Emily Miller and Cam met was during the filming of Too Hot to Handle in 2020. The pre-pandemic filmed series challenged the contestants to create real emotional bonds without touching each other. As per Us Magazine both stated the connection as being immediate as they connected naturally on and off camera.

In June 2021, when the show aired, Emily Miller and Cam confirmed that they were still together. They also revealed that they lived in together soon after the filming was over. The fact that they decided to move in together was a big move at the beginning of the relationship because they had not been apart long since the filming was complete.

As of 2021, the couple had established a solid base. In interviews and posts in social media, they were open about their relationship outside the context of the show. It was emphasized that although they started as reality TV contestants, they still were able to maintain their relationship based on the real-life circumstances.

Challenges, growth, and family life

In 2022, Emily Miller and Cam briefly broke up and the relationship caused online speculation of infidelity. They did not disclose much information but they did it later in a video where they mentioned they had to be apart for things to work out. Cosmopolitan reported that they were later able to reconcil and emerge stronger than ever after having sorted out their differences.

The couple has a son, Reggie, who was born in June 2024. This milestone brought them much closer as they entered family life. At a time Cam posted on social media that having kids had made them a lot more serious and brought them closer.

By the beginning of 2025, the couple celebrated four years of togetherness. Cam also wrote an emotional note to Emily that she was his soulmate and how much they had been through since they initially met. He asked her to marry him on a sunset beach in October 2025 in the presence of their son.
