Hilaria Baldwin fires back at body shaming comments over Father’s Day video

Hilaria Baldwin is reportedly firing back at body shaming comments under the video she shared via Instagram on Monday, June 16. Hilaria Baldwin posted a playful video of her kids lifting her up on her Instagram account but was reportedly faced with body-shaming comments. However, according to Newsweek, she fired back at the negative comments.

According to Newsweek, in the video, her two kids, Leo (8) and Carmen (11) can be seen lifting their mother separately. The video was shared with the caption,

"Leo and Carmen can pick me up now. And I am struggling to pick them up. How does this happen so fast???"

Though the video had a playful tone, some Instagram users did not take it the way it was intended. According to Newsweek, some wrote negative comments, reportedly body-shaming her. But Hilaria fired back at these comments.

For instance, as per Newsweek, one commenter wrote,

"'look how light i am!'"

Hilaria Baldwin replied to the above comment with,

"how about 'look how strong my kids are'????"

The publication further reports that another comment said,

"Because you all bones. Do you eat?"

Hilaria reportedly replied to this yet another comment with,

"well yes I do [face with tears of joy emoji]"

Hilaria Baldwin is a 41-year-old American entrepreneur and yoga instructor who is married to American actor Alec Baldwin. The couple shares seven kids, three daughters, and four sons. Their daughters are Carmen(11), María Lucía (4), and Ilaria(2); their sons are Rafael (10), Leo (8), Romeo (7), and Eduardo (4). Alec Baldwin also has a daughter with his ex-wife, Kim Basinger, Ireland Baldwin (29).

Hilaria Baldwin takes her children to visit cemeteries to teach them about death

According to a recent E! News report, Hilaria Baldwin shared on the June 16 episode of the Sibling Revelry podcast, hosted by Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson, that she takes her kids to cemeteries to teach them that dying is part of life.

According to E! News, Hilaria shared in the podcast that,

"I bring my kids to cemeteries a lot...We spend time in cemeteries and you know, everything from like the history of it, and just also acknowledging, this is part of life."

Hilaria further added that,

"This is part of life. And there's a tremendous amount of peace there as well. And not being afraid, if not of death, but of people who have died, you know? And because I don't want anyone to be afraid of me when I die. So I try to have that kind of connection with them."

Alec Baldwin and Hilaria met each other in February 2011. In April 2012, the couple got engaged, and their marriage was held at the Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral in Manhattan on June 30, 2012. The couple shares seven kids.
