Reneé Rapp is reacting to Tory Lanez's stabbing in prison.

The songstress cum Means Girls actor sat down for a recent with Ziwe, where she was asked about her take on the rapper's stabbing.

“I feel like a lot of people get stabbed and that’s OK,” she said. “Maybe we should be doing it more. Maybe we should be stabbing more […] Shiv in the pocket.”

Her stance comes on the heels of her public support for Megan Thee Stallion, who was shot at by Tory Lanez, culminating in his conviction. He is currently serving a 10-year stint behind bars.

“I am a true Meg supporter. And I hate that other man,” Rapp said. “So, I love Megan Thee Stallion. I love her. And if anybody tries her, when it comes to that sorry ass man, it’s a do-or-die fight for me.”

Here's everything you need to know about Tory Lanez's stabbing: What the culprit has to say, Lanez's legal team's response, and more

Tory Lanez's legal counsel is dragging TMZ for airing a prison interview with an inmate who allegedly stabbed him. According to AllHipHop, the latter is accusing the outlet of perpetuating a false narrative by airing the inmate's interview, the actions of whom still have the rapper recuperating from a prison stabbing.

A spokesperson for Lanez, Diana London, slammed TMZ for giving Santino Casio a platform. The latter reportedly stabbed the rapper 14 times on May 13 while they were both serving their sentence at the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi.

Santino Casio, who is serving a life sentence, told TMZ for an article that came out on May 27 that he was acting out of self-defense when he stabbed Lanez. The latter was allegedly out to murder him and had placed a bounty on his head.

He said that he first heard rumors about the same, and when he ran into Lanez later on, he noticed a suspicious object in the rapper's pocket. Startled, he thought it was a weapon and acted on it by beating and stabbing the rapper. Tory Lanez was left with seven stab wounds to his back, three to his head, and four to his torso.

However, he said that he wasn't trying to kill the rapper. He also claimed that the debacle unraveled quickly, adding that he and Tory were once allies when they stayed in neighboring cells. He was later penalized for the incident by being stabbed in his leg.

In response to the interview, Tory Lanez's legal team said:

“The recent attempt on his life was savage and ferocious, underscoring the clear and present danger he faces while incarcerated. Any claim to the contrary particularly from an individual serving a life sentence for heinous crimes is not only baseless but an absurd fabrication.”

They added:

“His continued confinement is both a miscarriage of justice and a threat to his safety. He must be released immediately.”

Another part of the statement, per AllHipHop, reads as follows:

“TMZ, of all people, give this disgusting, vile human being a platform to spew those lies when this man (Tory), at that point, [was] in a bed in the hospital fighting for his life,” London said. “And we have to defend, instead of talking about the well-being of this man who’s innocent already and who is a victim of many people in the system who railroaded this guy.”

In response to the claims that Tory Lanez was out to murder Casio, she said:

“Why in the hell would Tory want to kill someone when he literally could be pardoned or get out of prison? He has everything to lose at this point.”

Following the stabbing, Tory Lanez was rushed to a hospital to recuperate, though he has since made it back to prison. At the time, he was treated for a collapsed lung, which put him on a breathing machine. He is now breathing and talking on his own, HipHopDX.

"Despite being in pain, he is talking normally, in good spirits, and deeply thankful to God that he is pulling through," a post on the rapper's Instagram states.

Casio, 41, has since been placed in "restricted housing," the BBC has reported. He is serving a life sentence for charges including “second-degree murder, first-degree attempted murder, personal use of a dangerous or deadly weapon, and inflict great bodily injury."

Tory Lanez, whose legal name is Daystar Peterson, is behind bars for 10 years after he was convicted of shooting fellow musician Megan Thee Stallion in 2020.

"He was sentenced to life with the possibility of parole for second-degree murder, first degree attempted murder, personal use of a dangerous or deadly weapon, and inflict [sic] great bodily injury," a statement from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) read.
