WWE legend, Undertaker recently announced on his podcast Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway that he has an interest in joining WWE's creative team. The rumours were floating for quite sometime and the Deadman himself took the plunge to address the rumours in a news interview with Andrew Ravens.

The Undertaker, also known as “The Deadman,” has been one of WWE’s most respected names for over three decades. Since retiring from in-ring action, many have wondered if he would take a role behind the scenes. He said:

“If we can figure out a way to make that happen… obviously, [being] in Texas, you know, I would definitely entertain it,” he said. “And I’ll always, if there’s something that I could do to make our product better, help talent, then I’m on board for that.”

The Undertaker spoke openly about his interest.

“Yeah, I’ve always kind of had an interest,” he said. “It’s just a matter of making it work with my schedule and the other things that I have going on.”

The idea of working on WWE’s creative side appeals to him. But he stressed that it would take a lot of time and effort.

“Because the ask for something like that is really big, and I would have to be 100% committed to be part of that, right?” Undertaker added. “I mean, you have to be involved in all of these creative meetings and all of this other stuff.”

Clearly, he takes this potential role seriously. He knows that success in this position would mean giving it his full attention.

What are the challenges involved?

One key factor is Undertaker’s current life situation. He is based in Texas, which could make regular travel hard.

Another challenge is balancing this role with his other commitments. Since stepping away from the ring, he has been involved in other projects. His schedule is already full, which makes adding a creative team role more complex.

In addition, WWE’s creative process is known for its demanding nature. Creative team members are involved in long meetings, weekly shows, and pay-per-views. They also need to be available for constant discussions and planning. He understands this and does not want to take the role lightly.

What does he hope to bring to WWE?

Despite the challenges, he is open to helping if the right situation comes along. He sees value in using his years of experience to improve WWE’s product and help new talent.

“And I’ll always, if there’s something that I could do to make our product better, help talent, then I’m on board for that,” he said.

He has a strong desire to give back to the business that shaped his life. Many current WWE stars respect him and would benefit from his guidance.

WWE is also going through changes. Under the TKO regime, the creative direction is evolving. His experience could be useful during this period. His insight could help bridge the past and present of WWE.

The Undertaker’s recent comments show he is open to joining WWE’s creative team. However, he also knows it would require full-time dedication. Geography, personal schedule, and WWE’s needs would all have to align.

For now, he remains willing to help in ways that fit his current life. Whether he takes an official creative role or offers advice from time to time, his experience will always be valuable.
